To build their houses, the inhabitants of Junas had the privilege of collecting the stone off-cuts, hence their massive appearance. Over the years, stone cutters and sculptors have left their mark on the Carrières and the village.

Created in 2017, the Réserve du Petit Rhône is a 70-hectare site, divided into two sections to discover the flora and fauna of the Gard Camargue. Our passion for nature led us to develop this abandoned area and showcase the diversity of the Petite Camargue. From 60 bird species at the outset, we counted over a hundred 5 years later, and this number is still rising today. Individual photographer's blinds are available to guarantee a quiet moment in the middle of nature. Services : Tours are available on foot or mountain bike, and cover a total distance of around 4.5 km (allow at least 1h30 for the entire site).
