A walk to discover the heritage surrounding water: mill, wash-house, wine press, etc.

Discover the rural heritage surrounding the village of Junas.

ROUTE :
Start at Place de l'avenir, head for Chemin des Corbières, then Chemin de Moulin à vent. Follow the paths through the garrigue then return to the village via Chemin du mazet de la cantonnière, rue des Capitelles, chemin du Palais, rue des écoles, rue de la mairie, route d'Aujargues then place de l'avenir.

The ruisseau de Corbières flows along a haven of plant peace, with a rich riparian forest that preserves a unique ecosystem, a refuge for numerous animal species, such as the discreet Rollier with its brilliant plumage...
Man has exploited this resource by building a washhouse, a water mill (15th century) and a 145 m retention basin on the banks. Gradually restored by the local heritage preservation association, these features blend magnificently with the surroundings.
