This circuit along the river starts in the heart of the picturesque village of Laroquebrou (Place du Foirail). As we leave the medieval village, we leave the River Cère to reach Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Dam lake. A rolling, family-friendly route, this loop allows you to discover a beautiful built heritage as well as vast areas of plains and forests. You also have the chance, during this route, to walk along the famous and historic Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Dam, built between 1939 and 1945, before reaching Laroquebrou and its older part, spread out near the promontory of Montal Castle.

The St. Victor hiking trail. Situated on a rocky spur, at an altitude of over 500 m, the site of Saint-Victor is a magical place where you will discover the church and its bell gable and the old presbytery. The view of the village of Aleix, the surrounding forest and the meandering stream is simply magnificent. You will then walk along the Way of the Cross and the edge of the forest to return to the village of Aleix. Hiking trail "Rouffet Bridge". This walk allows you to discover the typical architecture of Arnac and its church. You can also enjoy beautiful views of the Mounts of Cantal, the Enchanet Lake, the Rouffet railway viaduct and, if the water is low, the old road bridge. "The tranquillity of a family camping". For a pleasant family holiday, the campsite welcomes you to the heart of the " Vallée de l'Authre" , valley of poets. This small structure of 40 pitches, a toilet block equipped for the reception of people with reduced mobility and 5 mobile homes, is located near the village of Jussac where you will find all shops and services.
