Hiking trail - Moulergues

A long winding ribbon of 17 km and 410 ha fed by the mountainous waters of the Maronne.Its 69m high arch dam was built in 1950 to produce electricity. The spruce-wooded slopes that border it give it the proud appearance of a mountain lake. The lake is home to one of Europe's largest heronries, and predator fishing is an unforgettable experience: day permit (€12) or holiday permit (€33) on sale at www.cartedepeche.fr or from Camping Paradis La Gineste. Between Rocamadour and the Mounts of Cantal, the Accordion and Popular Music Instruments Museum welcome you to Siran. Over the course of their lives, the Cazes brothers built up an exceptional collection of accordions, hurdy-gurdies and cabrettes.You'll also discover rare and surprising instruments such as music boxes, the true ancestors of jukeboxes.
