Hiking trail - La Roquaise

The Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Dam is an arch-gravity dam built between 1939 and 1945.Free visits in French of the hydroelectric power station of Saint-Étienne-Cantalès are organized by EDF and the Visitors Bureau in Laroquebrou every Friday from June to September and every Tuesday between 07/15 and 08/19: historical aspects, functioning, safety... The second largest artificial lake in Auvergne is 13 km long and covers an area of 563 ha.The lake is ideal for family leisure activities: Jet skiing, beach volleyball, lazing on its beaches or simply swimming, a 124 m long Himalayan footbridge linking the beaches of Espinet and Rénac... enough to delight all members of the family! Supervised beaches in July and August: Puech des Ouilhes, Rénac and Espinet. Boat launch at Puech des Ouilhes, Rénac, Espinet and Ribeyrès. Predator fishing: day permit (€12) or holiday permit (€33) on sale at www.cartedepeche.fr (enter 15150 Saint-Gérons) or at Laroquebrou Visitors Bureau.

All year round, every Friday from 8am to 12pm on the Place du Foirail.
