This lovely, mainly woodland route allows you to enjoy the vast areas of countryside near the village of Siran. Starting from the Place de l'Église, you will discover a beautiful Cantal heritage of barns and old mills, before venturing into varied and more remote areas of Siran's vast forests. This is a pleasant route for beginners, with a rural and bucolic atmosphere and shaded areas in the countryside. A rolling loop for the whole family.

How many walkers have passed through Siran without even knowing it? Situated on the edge of the picturesque Cère Gorge footpath, the village has more than one trick up its sleeve to attract the curious...
Between Rocamadour and the Mounts of Cantal, the Accordion and Popular Music Instruments Museum welcome you to Siran. Over the course of their lives, the Cazes brothers built up an exceptional collection of accordions, hurdy-gurdies and cabrettes. You'll also discover rare and surprising instruments such as music boxes, the true ancestors of jukeboxes.
For hikers, Laroquebrou is the last stop before the long crossing of the Cère Gorge. For everyone else, the picturesque architecture and the enchanting setting of the village, through which the River Cère casually flows, is an invitation to linger.
