The museum of the romantic Life is installed in the house of the painter Ary Scheffer, built in 1830. Situated to Pigalle, in the district of New Athens, the museum reconstitutes a harmonious historic frame evoking the romantic time. The ground floor is dedicated to George Sand: portraits, furniture, and jewels of the XVIIth and XIXth centuries. On the first floor, the paintings of the painter Ary Scheffer are surrounded with works of his contemporaries.Two annual temporary exhibitions are organized as well as concerts, readings and animations for children. In the garden of the museum, the seasonal tearoom, real open haven of peace from March till October, allows to have a greedy gourmet break.

The wall of I love you, is an inescapable place for the lovers of the whole world making an appointment in Paris. The wall, built on a surface of 40 m ², consists of 612 tiles in enamelled lava, on which bloom 311 " I love you ".
