Description

The wall of I love you, is an inescapable place for the lovers of the whole world making an appointment in Paris. The wall, built on a surface of 40 m ², consists of 612 tiles in enamelled lava, on which bloom 311 " I love you ". The brightness of red color on the fresco are the pieces of a broken heart, a symbol of a humanity which tears and which the wall tends to gather. This monument unusual and dedicated to love is set up in a public garden of the place of Abbesses, on the butte Montmartre.

Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito are at the origin of this wall.? It is marked on this wall " I love you! " In known or unknown languages. All the languages of 192 member states belonging to the Organization of the Close Nations are reproduced as Dzongkha, Khirghiz or Bislama but also Basque and bambara, Catalan and Corsican, Kurdish, innuktitut, navajo, Occitan or Yiddish.
