Before welcoming a public garden, 2 665 m2 were devolved to baths by 1765, then to café with live music in 1865. This one was destroyed by a flood in 1879. The public garden welcomes a fountain Wallace with button. In 2007, it obtained the label " ecological green spaces " awarded by ÉCOCERT.

The Pont au Change is a bridge over the Seine River in Paris, France.The bridge is located at the border between the first and fourth arrondissements. It connects the Île de la Cité from the Palais de Justice and the Conciergerie, to the Right Bank, at the level of the Théâtre du Châtelet. Bridge location on the Seine  Pont au Change in 1577.Several bridges bearing the name Pont au Change have stood on this site. It owes its name to the goldsmiths and money changers who had installed their shops on an earlier version of the bridge in the 12th century. The current bridge was constructed from 1858 to 1860, during the reign of Napoleon III, and bears his imperial insignia.The Pont au Change is featured in the novel Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. Police Inspector Javert finds himself unable to reconcile his duty to surrender Jean Valjean to the authorities with the fact that Valjean saved his life. He comes to the Pont au Change and throws himself into the Seine. It also plays a role in the novel Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind; the perfumier Baldini, who takes the protagonist Grenouille as his apprentice, owns a shop on the bridge. In 1816, a large crowd went to the port at the Louvre to watch the docking of the Elise, the first steamboat. Today, the crowd comes to the museum, the home port for art from all over the world. To expand, the Louvre got rid of the Ministry of Finance civil servants who used a wing of the building until the mid-1980s. Going towards the Opera, the beginning of the Japanese quarter of Paris, side-by-side with the luxury boutiques of Faubourg St-Honoré and the antique shops in the Louvre des Antiquaires. The quarter is also a quiet paradise abandoned to bankers now that the National Library and its readers have moved to a new river bank site. With the Tuileries and the quays, this stop is also the one for the nearest Paris gets to beach establishments.

The first royal statue restored in bets, after the Revolution and the Empire, was the one of Henri IV, chosen because of the affection which a majority of the population carried to the founder of the dynasty of Bourbons.
