The corporation of nautes " the traders of the water " had obtained a jurisdiction installed in the xiiie century in the " Visiting room to the Middle-class persons " situated near the Pantheon, in the location of the current N 20 of the street Soufflot. The middle-class persons obtained a Provost of the traders whose skills were limited to the commercial domain. The provost of the traders, assisted by four aldermen, took care of the supply of the city, the public works, the plate of the taxes and had the jurisdiction on the river business. The first provost of the traders of Paris was Evrard de Valenciennes.

The first royal statue restored in bets, after the Revolution and the Empire, was the one of Henri IV, chosen because of the affection which a majority of the population carried to the founder of the dynasty of Bourbons. A popular subscription was even thrown to finance the command of the monument. A temporary work welcomed Louis XVIII on the bridge in May, 1814.

La Sainte-Chapelle (French pronunciation: [la sɛ̃t ʃapɛl], The Holy Chapel) is the only surviving building of the Capetian royal palace on the Île de la Cité in the heart of Paris, France. It was commissioned by King Louis IX of France to house his collection of Passion Relics, including the Crown of Thorns - one of the most important relics in medieval Christendom. Begun some time after 1239 and consecrated on the 26th of April 1248, the Sainte-Chapelle is considered among the highest achievements of the Rayonnant period of Gothic architecture. Although damaged during the French revolution and heavily restored in the 19th century, it retains one of the most extensive in-situ collections of 13th century stained glass anywhere in the world. The Palais de Justice (French pronunciation: [palɛ də ʒystis]), located in the Île de la Cité in central Paris, France, is built on the site of the former royal palace of Saint Louis, of which the Sainte Chapelle remains. Thus the justice of the state has been dispensed at this site since medieval times. The hotel of Miramion is a Parisian mansion, sheltering at present the Museum of the AP-HP (Welfare services - Hospitals of Paris), as well as certain services of the seat of the AP-HP. It is situated in 47, quay of Tournelle, in the 5th district. The museum is closed since June 30th, 2012, further to the sale by the AP-HP of the hotel of Miramion. Created by the meeting of several small islands of which the island to the Jews (where were burned the last Knight Templars) and the island of the Patriarch. The public garden owes its name to Henri IV, nicknamed the "Vert-Galant" because of his numerous mistresses in spite of its advanced age. The public garden is dominated by an equestrian statue of Henri IV resting on the Pont-neuf (which separates the public garden besides from the island). A commemorative tablet calls back besides that it is in this place that took place, March 18th, 1314, executions on the stake of two higher dignitaries of the order of the Temple, Jacques de Molay and Geoffroy de Charnay.
Before welcoming a public garden, 2 665 m2 were devolved to baths by 1765, then to café with live music in 1865. This one was destroyed by a flood in 1879. The public garden welcomes a fountain Wallace with button. In 2007, it obtained the label " ecological green spaces " awarded by ÉCOCERT.
