From the church beautiful hiking without difficulty that takes you out of the village along the river Touyre before joining the greenway to the village of Dreuilhe. Fit beautiful wood the descend to the hamlet of Campredon before taking the Bastide sur l'Hers which leads you along the ridges to the Chapel St ROC to join Laroque d'Olmes.

The opportunity to discover three villages during this walk of 12 kms. Organized in a loop, a shorter variant is possible. Rich of small inheritance, it will make you discover the old water mill of Limbrassac and the source of the Lauzado in Troye d'Ariège.

This is surely one of the longest data you can discover the various villages and historic castles that this route has. With remarkable views of the plain and Lake Montbel, let yourself be carried along these trails.

After parking in the parking lot of the town hall of St-Julien, walk on a path between two hills before starting the climb leading you to the Pic d'Estelle, from where you will have a magnificent view of the Pyrenees.

Path from Peyrat which leads to the hamlet of Mireval or "mira-valh" which means in Occitan "look at the valley". Until the mid-nineteenth century, Le Peyrat was an industrial center specialized in the manufacture of horn comb and leather goods.

This beautiful route along the totally secure greenway lined with old stations and several tunnels lead you to Montbel lake with splendid views of points and a breathtaking panorama.

Dominating Dun and the valley of Douctouyre, the Peak Galinié is the culminating point of this loop from where one will admire the panorama on the massif of Tabe and the country of Mirepoix.

On the way from between Lieurac and Le Carla de Roquefort, you will cross the area De La Ville where are the church and the ruins of the old castle. If you start from Carla de Roquefort feel free to join the Cascades true geological curiosity forming a rare and very fragile phenomenon of tufa a height 30 meter further.

The architecture of the castle of Léran is a reflection of its long history. Built to be a defensive fortress in the thirteenth century, it was twice damaged during the religious wars and during the Revolution, and each time restored and embellished in the style of the time. What we see today : the slots of the dungeon, gable roofs, turrets, the bartizans evoke medieval architecture, but are actually reconstitutions "à l'ancienne" of 1880. The last squire was Academician Pierre Marie, Duc de Lévis-Mirepoix (1884- 1981), historian and novelist.

Probably dates from the late nineteenth century or early twentieth century. It provided irrigation for the surrounding plain.

And since 3 August 2023, there has been a Velorail on this tourist site. In 2026, a second circuit (2x7.5 km) with a Quizz game will open, heading towards Castelnaudary. An Accrobranche park is just 3 km from Lac de Lenclas. Please note, however, that swimming is prohibited.
