This is a hike in two days different from that of the North Tower by with the particularity to borrow much of the path of the Good Men (GR 107) and the Cathar trail. This circuit is part of an historical track.

The existence of the castle of Roquefixade is attested since 1034. The first lords all bear the name of Bernard Amiel de Pailhès. During the crusade against the Albigenses, they are of all the fighting alongside the counts of Toulouse and Foix of which they are the vassals. In 1278, the castle was purchased by the king who will maintain and remodel the fortifications and maintain a garrison including a castellan, a watchman, a porter, twelve sergeants and watchdogs.

The Orris is a dry stone construction without binder with vault in piles of medium mountain load.

The Cascades produced a rare and very fragile phenomenon: a tufiére 30 meters high. True natural geological curiosity, the tufiére or petrifying waterfall is formed of pulverulent and friable limestone tuff of white to beige color. The water of the sources of the Turasse being particularly calcareous, the tufa is deposited on the mosses and the pieces of wood in the form of a crust. The disposition of these vegetable debris by fermentation gives in part to the rock its porous texture reminding that of the sponge.

The « Chalet de Beauregard » a high-altitude inn, offers mountain cuisine infused with the flavours of Ariège. Set off on a gustatory journey lost in the heart of the mountains. Situated a rest area of the motorway service Port Lauragais, a hotel and a restaurant is a nice place to chill out, enjoy a boating port and tast a good dishes. In this quiet part of the village overlooking the lake Thesauque, this Auberge will offer you a warm and friendly atmosphere, all their bedrooms are personalised. Come and stop at Lenclas lake ! Ideal for sharing a picnic, spending an afternoon or even a few days, Lac de Lenclas is set in a real green setting. With a surface area of 2 hectares and a depth of around 3 m, fishing is permitted. Children's play equipment is also available. And since 3 August 2023, there has been a Velorail on this tourist site. In 2026, a second circuit (2x7.5 km) with a Quizz game will open, heading towards Castelnaudary. An Accrobranche park is just 3 km from Lac de Lenclas. Please note, however, that swimming is prohibited.

The chef, Christian Lagarde, represents the 5th generation of the family. Its specialties are dishes in sauce and local products: civets, cassoulets, navarins ... The range of the menu is extended, prices range from 12 euros to 34 euros or more. Reservation recommended on weekends and evenings. Located on the esplanade, near the church, the small hotel-restaurant stretches its large terrace under a flowered arbor. The Lagarde family have taken turns to welcome their guests for generations. The vast restaurant room which can be seen at the back of the old café gives a fair idea of the simple and generous cuisine that is served there for any occasion: sports meal, Sunday lunch, gourmet dinner or festive meal.
