Starting from the church in Izernore, this hike takes you to the Samognat shooting range. You'll also discover the Belloire plateau, and end your walk at the Voerle farm. Turn right into Rue du Temple and left into Rue de la Voie Etroite. Cross the Grande Rue. At the end of the street, turn right into Chemin des Trablettes. Leave the road to take Chemin de la Monta. When you reach the shooting range, walk alongside it and follow the path downhill, approaching the Charmine dam reservoir, then bending right to reach the hamlet of Condamine. Cross the D18 and take the path opposite, crossing a bridge and leaving the Touvière mill on your left. Cross the stream and take the right-hand path. Further on, cross the stream again on a footbridge and follow the path over a plateau, past the Voerle farm and on to Izernore. Following this hiking path, which bring you back to the Gallo Roman history and tales of Izernore. This hiking path is marked out with a yellow sign. The starting point is in the church's square in Izernore and next you will carry on in the "stones path". After a return to the temple Gallo Roman, the path go on following the towns of Voërle, Intriat, Cessiat. In the chapel St Roman, you will go back to Izernore.

Empruntez ce sentier pédestre sur le plateau de la Belloire et d'Andréas. You begin this path on the plateau of the Belloire and Andréas. This hiking path is marked out in yellow. The starting point is on the Izernore church's square. Next, it runs into the forest, near to the lake of Samognat, it crosses Condamine and Voërle. In Izernore, a quick return to the Gallo-roman temple is advisable.

LE SENTIER DE LA RECULÉE DE CORVEISSIAT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED (municipal by-law attached to website). Public traffic is prohibited between the cave access path and the footbridge, until DECEMBER 31, 2025. Emblematic of the Jura mountains, the reculées are worlds apart. Setting off along this path and coming face to face with this imposing porch is always spectacular, or following this torrent down to the Rivière d'Ain amidst the moss remains magical. Site classified as a landscape Espace Naturel Sensible de l'Ain - ENS Distance: 6 km Time: 1h30 - Difference in altitude: 200 m - Marking: Yellow Route: Go downhill. At the bottom, right for the cave porch. Leave the site by stairs. Descend to the footbridge (waterfalls and cliffs), cross it and join the ain (0h20). After the climb, turn left to the crossroads, then right to return. Grotto : The cave can be visited by appointment for groups, or on Wednesdays in summer during guided tours organized by the managing association (Agek). This "model factory" made available workshops to workers in which they benifited from energy needs to their production in celluloÏd. The building trade had, at this time, innovator architecture and conception. The Great Steam, classified as Ancient Memorial since 1987 and certified heritage from the 20th century, was built in 1905 on the Auguste Chanard architect's plans. This is a model factory with innovatory architecture for the work of celluloid, plastic particularly inflammable. The building trade, a V open-shaped, is composed of two wings divided in two floors of partitioned studios which were rented to craftsmen. Each studio worked on electricity(thanks to hydroelectric energy) and had got fire-fighting system from outside : The Sprinklage system. Work surface was ringed by irrigation channel in which the craftsman threw out caught fire objects. The Great Steam was for his sleeping partner - The Electric Union (private society) a display which should serve the conquest of electric energy's distribution's market in several departments.
