Description
A museum with appeal that plunges you into the world of archaeology and reveals different aspects of the Roman "vicus" of Isarnodorum between the 2nd century BC and the 3rd century AD.
You'll become , for a time, archaeologist discovering the development of an object since its discovery until its exhibition in a context of unusual and educational. 4 screens follow one another :
- excavations building site / the vicus elements
- excavations warehouse / trade and exchanges
- studies laboratory / activities
- curiosity office / everyday life

From 01/07 to 31/08 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 1 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm. Closed exceptionally on July 14th and August 15th. From 01/09 to 30/06 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am and 12 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm. Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
