A fun and educational walk to discover how pastoral activity has transformed the landscape. A trail that takes you on a journey through the garrigue, a Mediterranean landscape shaped by man's pastoral activities over the millennia and up until the 1950s. The Chemin des laines owes its name to the scraps of wool hung on bushes by ewes as they grazed in the garrigue. Today, many vestiges remain along the paths between Vaunage and Sommierois, including the typical dry-stone constructions known as "capitelles", which have recently been restored.
