The church occupies the site of an ancient chapel dedicated to St Andrew, which came into the hands of the Lords of Bage after the 10th century. The Montalibord farmhouse features a Saracen-style mantel with a square, pyramidal bolster of an uncommonly abraded form. Grandval farmhouse, named after an ancient parish, has been brought back to life by Morgan Benoît, the new owner since 2021.
