Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, leisurely walks, with a baby carriage or small bike, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in wheelchairs), offered by the Fédération Française de Randonnée de la Gironde.

At the eastern end of the old town, halfway up the hillside, the church of Saint-Aubin dominates the small valley of the Pimpine. Although the reasons for its location there remain unexplained, its ancient origins are attested by the will of Pierre de Latresne who, in 1274, asked to be buried there alongside his father. Originally a modest Romanesque church, composed of a single nave and a narrower semicircular apse, it has undergone numerous modifications over the centuries in order to respond to the growing population of the parish, notably by adding two aisles and replacing the Romanesque sanctuary with a pentagonal apse. At present, the only witnesses of the Romanesque period are the walls of the nave, which are made of beautifully crafted materials.

Bois de la Pimpine is a hillside site. It covers former underground quarries, some of whose entrances are still visible, and overlooks a large pond below. This site offers ideal conditions for bats: an insect pond providing abundant food, and trees and underground quarries providing natural shelter. It can be reached via the Piste Roger Lapébie opposite the Etang des Sources in Cénac (40 minutes by bike from the Pont de Pierre in Bordeaux).
