This bike-park is accessible by gondolas. 8 tracks of different levels including 1 a walking route of more than 10 km are offered to you. Enjoy more than 30 km of specially equipped slopes: banked turns, jumps... In Valloire-Galibier, mountain biking is the ideal way to combine sport and nature. With 8 downhill courses for all levels and 5 routes for VTTAE, Valloire is an FFC-approved center. La Familiale" trail At the top of the Lac de la Vieille chairlift - 9.4 km downhill to Valloire - 905 m vertical drop A varied run with banked turns, freeride zones and a large section of fun trail winding through the fir and larch forest. Picnic tables available at the halfway point, in a large clearing, ... Please note that this trail is accessible to all, provided you have a good level of cycling experience and some basic riding skills. If you're a very occasional rider or a beginner, as with the other trails, we recommend that you seek professional guidance to learn and enjoy all the pleasures of downhill mountain biking. Concours International de sculptures sur paille & foin

Come and discover the work of the 12 participating teams Figurative or not, these works are impressive in terms of the materials used. Vote for your favorite sculpture here: docs.google.com/forms/d/1tl8jgojvvcx5vklgvtpazdh7eaoof-cyhvk1q46c3bo/edit Using straw, hay, chicken wire, wire and burlap, artists sculpt works of art from their own imaginations. A must-see summer event! Located on the route des grandes alpes just outside the hamlet of Les Verneys, between the center of Valloire and the Galibier. The straw and hay creations, once erected, remain visible until All Saints' Day. You can reach the site by shuttle bus in July and August, or in 40 minutes on foot along a hiking trail from the center of Valloire, or park free of charge nearby. Start date: Tuesday, June 24, 9 a.m. End of competition: Sunday, 12 noon From June 24 to June 29: Come and support the sculptors and follow the evolution of the sculptures throughout the week! Saturday June 28 from 6.30pm: Concert on the sculpture site with CACHORROS DEL REYS gipsy music group. Refreshments provided by Pic Sonne. Sunday June 29: For safety reasons, the site is closed to the public from 8am to 1pm. (competition ends at 12 noon) 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Voting for the Public Prize and the Youth Prize at the Tourist Office. 1 pm to 4:30 pm: Voting for the People's Prize and Youth Prize on the sculpture site. Looking for comfort and space? Chalet Saint-Roch offers 450 m² of living space, including a magnificent 125 m² cathedral living room with central fireplace, bar and TV, plus a vast kitchen. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and WCs. Opposite Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, in the Maurienne, in a small village at the foot of the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves, Chalet Saint-Roch welcomes you at an altitude of 1600 m, in the heart of the mountain pastures. Skiers, you can enjoy ski touring from the chalet, downhill skiing on the Sybelles ski area: 4th largest ski area in France, 300 km of slopes 15 min from the chalet, or on the Albiez-Montrond ski area, 36 km of slopes on a sunny plateau, 7 km away. Motorcyclists will find the winding mountain roads a real pleasure to ride! Garage available. For cyclists, the chalet is the ideal starting point for climbing the most prestigious Savoy mountain passes: Croix de Fer, Glandon, Télégraphe, Galibier, Madeleine, Mollard. For hikers, there are numerous routes to the Aiguilles d'Arves in superb unspoilt surroundings. Supervised swimming (July-August) at the superb Col du Mollard lake in Albiez-Montrond. Horse and pony rides at the same place. The chalet offers 450 m² of living space: - a magnificent 125 m² cathedral living room with bar, central fireplace, sofas and TV - all bedrooms, cosy and comfortable, with bathroom and WC - sleeps 16 - large kitchen, linen room, ski room, private parking lot No shuttle service.
