Around Campagnac, go to discover the Causse architecture and smell the scent of boxwood.Borrow the D37 to Saint-Laurent-d'Olt on 300 m. At the Iron Cross, take the left path.It runs along the limestone cliffs of the Ancize (view over the ravine of Courtineaux and Lot valley picnic area).At the junction, follow the right path.It climbs to the house of painter (private property).After the high voltage line, the road descends into the wood.100 m after the ruin of a vine house, turn left into the path that goes back on the shelf.At the top, continue the path in front of 100 m, then turn left.Just before the high voltage line, follow the path left for a few meters, then turn right on the small road lined with big boxwood.Enter the pine wood and then continue through the boxwood  until Campagnac.Cross the village center, then go down to join the gendarmerie.

In the 13th century Lagarde was Commandery of Knights templar. The little chapel in this village is the last remnant of this once important property. The castle of LA BORIE is a good example of military architecture of 15th century. It is private property and can not be visited. Panoramic view to the Tailladès valleys and the Truyère river.

An easy hike, ideal for hot days, the path is shady the most time. From the departure point possibility to follow for 2 km the Peatlog of Vergnes des Mazes with information display boards (in French language). D – DEPART: From LIEUTADES take the car for 4 km in the direction of LACALM. Big parking at your right. Take the path, which goes to your left into a beech wood. Follow it for 2 km. 1 - At the end of the wood take the path at right until the village BURGUERETTES. 2 - In BURGUERETTES take left into the village. Typical architecture and old farmhouses, beautiful view on the volcano massif. Go back and follow the asphalt road to LES MAZES. To see: beside the road a memorial cross, called “Cross of the soldier”. 3 - In LES MAZES in front of a big farm house turn at right. The path crosses the wood and takes you to the departure point. Mountainbike: Easy level, no difficulties, very pleasant circuit.

Hiking trail "The Goul Valley". Lapeyrugue overlooks the beautiful Goul Valley: the view of the Mounts of Cantal and the Aubrac Plateau is remarkable from the village. Overlooking the River Goul, you will discover, in a superb forest of oak and chestnut trees, on your left, the department of Aveyron and the hamlet of Batut as well as Pons Dam. The hamlet of Le Mas is also amazing. This circuit is remarkable for the architectural beauty of its hamlets. A long hike with a long descent and long steep climb. Recommended only for expererienced hikers. Beautiful view on the Truyère valley and the volcano massif. The "Roc des Pas" is a big rock which shows curious traces which seems to be foot-and handprints. Their origin is not known. D - Depart Lieutadès in front of the former hotel. Take the road to LA SAUVETAT until VAISSIERES HAUTES (or make the first part of the hike "La Sauvetat". 1 - Cross the village. After the village take a path at left which follows the hedges. After 700 m take the path to the right. 2 - In LA SAUVETAT follow an asphalt road at left, cross the village and take the path which passes in front of the last house. Follow the fence and the large path between two ash hedges. 3 - At the intersection go straight on until a flat site where you follow the fence into the wood. Then follow the path and exceed the fence. The path leads you along an embankment to the "Roc des Pas". At point 3 follow a path at right into the valley which joins another path. Take the second path and go until POUJET. 4 -Cross the D 65 and take the path at right of a house to reach the D 11. Follow the road for 500 m. Take the path to ESTOURNIES and cross the village. The path joins a second time the D 11. Turn at right. 5 - Follow the asphalt road, cross the bridge and take at the next turn a steep path into the wood. Follow it until LA BORIE. 6 - Cross LA BORIE and take at the end of the village a path to your right which follows a stone wall. Take it and go back to LIEUTADES.

The first church of St Saturnin de Lenne, which dominates the Serre valley, was built during the 11th century. It had been reconstructed during the 12th century, then enlarged during the 13th.During the 11th century, Bégon de Calmont gave the churches of St Saturnin and La Roque to the abbey of Conques. Around 1100, monks started to reconstruct the church. But works stopped.During the 13th century, the tower was completed by the building of a bell room lighted by 4 bays and covered by a dome with shale tiles.The 19th century brought numerous transformations : bays were opened in the east end, 2 bays were added between 1852 and 1856. Finally, an architech of Mende proposed to elevate the bell tower and to add a roof light of 8 small columns, of the Neo-Byzantine style.Outside, sculptures represent historiated scenes (birds, horsemen, ...) from the end of the 11th century, in particular on the modillions of the east end and the transept.

L’Auberge Fleurie is a charming Cantal stopover in the area of the River Lot and the River Truyère, at an altitude of 800 m. L'Auberge de Mourjou, with its restaurant and guest rooms, has been open since 18 March 2024. Daily menu (€19,90) from Monday 12pm to Friday 2pm. Chef Kara Asatryan's menu (€39) is available for lunch and dinner on Saturdays and lunch on Sundays. Booking recommended. The chef's menu consists of a choice of two starters, a choice of two main courses and a choice of two desserts. The menu changes every 2 weeks according to the season and her inspiration. You can also make the most of our shaded terrace in fine weather.

Inspired by London pubs, Au Bureau is a pub, brasserie and restaurant all rolled into one. We offer a rich and varied menu, which changes twice a year, as well as delicious suggestions from the chef. The Anglo-Saxon decor is friendly and warm, like the team, always taking care of our customers. On Thursday evenings, we offer activities twice a month: Blind tests, karaoke or concerts and activities are put in place throughout the year.
