Like the Anitch and Pirait, the Layens is a must-do. What sets it apart is its incredible row of bends on the grass. A long panoramic crossing builds you up to the moment you dive in: 850m descent in one go!

Keen mountain runners will adore this amazing loop. The difference in altitude is well spread, there are a few steep climbs to overcome but the highlight is definitely the final Layens ascent. The terrain is diverse and the landscapes are simply beautiful. An absolute must!

This loop is ideal for a quick evening ride or for beginners who want to experience their first thrilling descent. After a smooth ascent on the road, the return is a lovely descent. Watch out for the last two bends!

You need to be well trained and comfortable off-road for this fantastic trail. The two highlights of the trail are a 600m field and a ramp before the ridges. Good recovery areas enable you to enjoy the views. It's south-facing so watch out for heatstroke!

This little tour above Osse-en-Aspe takes you into the sky so you can admire the valley from the viewfinder table. After a section on the road, it climbs into the shade of a beautiful beech forest. The unobstructed descent has fabulous views.

A lovely trek from Bedous station on the Santiago de Compostela route and the shepherds' paths. Explore Jouers Chapel and Land'art installations along the path (giant fish, migrating birds etc.).

An easy itinerary, this great tour of the valley highlights the pastoral and cultural life of the Aspois. The typical villages, the work in the fields and the breeding are mixed with sports activities like paragliding. The view of the surrounding peaks is omnipresent, and gives the impression of being able to touch them with your hand. The route, mainly on tracks, is lined with works of art bringing to this peaceful anthill an additional touch of poetry.

Starting from the village of Bedous, accessible by train, here is a beautiful series of passes not suitable for all legs. This complete and quality route will satisfy both the aesthete and contemplative cyclist as well as the runner in search of fractional efforts. The Col de Hourataté with its 6 km ascent at 9% does not impress on paper, but any desire for easy conquest will quickly be undermined by numerous passages exceeding 12%. "Labays" is of the same calibre, and it will take some experience to successfully reach the La Pierre Saint-Martin border crossing. Nevertheless, this escalation, of a certain aestheticism, cannot be reduced solely to physical effort. The landscapes traversed are of rare beauty and you will have to choose the right weather conditions to fully enjoy this exceptional stage.

The ascent to the Ourdinse Plateau requires serious effort. The trail climbs up from the first steps of the ascent so getting a steady pace is key. No pain no gain: the sharp narrow ridge of the Pic des Teulères, a floral plateau and a real haven of peace.

The Aspe Valley may be teeming with bike paths but is it too much to say that we've achieved perfection here? The loop in question is so intense that you appreciate the tarmac ascents. The top-class descents are long and demanding but so beautiful!

In the Vallée d'Aspe, above the medieval village of Borce, the Parc'Ours Association invites you to visit a Park and Animal Refuge through a 7-hectare nature trail. Come and discover the animals of our mountains (bears, marmots, isards, ibexes, birds of prey, insects?) and the local flora (trees, flowers, mushrooms?). Our caretakers will reveal the secrets of the Pyrenean Brown Bear as it feeds. Enter the isard and mouflon enclosures to get up close and personal with a wild animal emblematic of our mountains. Hunt for clues to the presence of forest animals, and experience a privileged contact with the refuge?s animals. Your visit will be punctuated by educational panels, fun trails, a nature store, play areas and picnic areas...

Chalet classified as furnished 2*, located at the end of the Chemin des Ancolies, in the village of the chalets, 500m from the shopping mall, the slopes and the lifts departing from the Pierre Saint-Martin resort. The Trans-Pyrenean Geological Route proposes the discovery of the geological heritage of the Aspe and Upper Aragon valleys. It illustrates the 400 million year history of the formation of the Pyrenees over 200 km. The itinerary includes 25 developed sites and offers bilingual (French/Spanish) explanatory panels offering an original reading of the landscapes and rocks. Discovery trail starting from the stations of Oloron Sainte-Marie, Sarrance and Bedous.

Pé Descaous is the quality farmhouse cheese produced in the pure Béarnaise tradition. It is made by transhumant shepherds in the area frequented by the last indigenous Pyrenean brown bears. All the "Pé Descaous", Pure Sheep, Cow, Goat and Mixed Cow-Ewe are produced according to the rules of Organic Agriculture.

A first picnic area welcomes you at the north entrance of Bedous at the edge of a water reservoir. You will be able to indulge in the pleasure of Fario trout fishing and picnic on the tables set up for this purpose. In addition, a fishing station labeled "handipêche" completes this quiet little corner. A second picnic area is located in the center of the village behind the pediment. You will also find tables and games for children. The site is near the stream "Le Gabarret", near the Tourist Office.

Located in the hills above Bedous, the farm raises a flock of meat sheep and produces, processes and sells mutton. Emma concocts delicious cooked dishes such as civet de mouton aux trompettes de la mort, axoa, fressure and many other gourmet recipes. She also grows fruit, which is sold seasonally, and transforms it into syrups, fruit jellies and jams. Transhumance & cie located in Bedous in the Aspe valley. Our menus and menu are essentially inspired by the culinary heritage of the Bearn region and the work of the local breeders and producers. The garbure is every day in the menu. Dishes in sauce simmered in a wood-fired oven, meats grilled over a wood fire, roasted in the fireplace, farm cheeses in raclette or melted over the embers... The desserts also include traditional Béarn specialties or our specialties: milhassou, Aspe cake, our crumble "Brigalha", and from February to August the ewe's milk cheese and even summer cheese from the end of June to mid-August. In Bedous, in the Pyrenees Béarnaises in the Valley of Aspe, Liza and Daniel welcome you in their restaurant equipped with a shaded terrace for the beautiful days. You will find daily menus that are out of the everyday life and some Asian notes here and there. The choice and quality are there with no less than 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. Liza, originally from Asia, also offers you an Asian menu on reservation to be tasted on the spot or to take away. You will have an overview of typical and tasty dishes.
