Enjoy the unique views of the surprising geological formations in this corner of Matheysine. A loop that will take you through the ups and downs... The warm-up on the plateau will allow you to calmly tackle the short climb to the old canal. From there, the smooth path will take you to La Posterle, where you'll quickly dive to the bottom of the gorge along a wide trail to cool off a bit. After following the river, you'll steadily climb back through the forests planted there to slow erosion, then brush against the banks of Lake Sautet. The steady climb will eventually bring you to the hamlet of Vieux Pellafol, nestled away from the wind and the crowds. From there, the plateau will unsurprisingly bring you back to the start.

This loop with its varied atmospheres begins very quietly on the Pellafol plateau, with imposing landscapes and the discovery of geological ruins. You will then dive into the Souloise gorges with their more intimate atmosphere. The warm-up is quite pleasant on the windy Pellafol plateau, then the descent to the Souloise Gorges begins. The fairly smooth path will take you through the forest, with surprising views of the unique landscapes of these gorges. The very steady climb will eventually bring you to the hamlet of Vieux Pellafol, nestled away from the wind and the crowds. From there, the plateau will unsurprisingly bring you back to the start.

Gentle start, descent towards the Gillardes for a refreshing break, then a steady and rhythmic climb to the Col des Faïsses, where impressive views of the Obiou enhance the recovery. The long climb to the Col des Faïsses is fairly steady but punctuated by steep sections. Enjoy the views of the Gillardes, the Ecrins, and the majestic Obiou nearby before beginning the descent. At the Col de la Sambue, a refreshing break is available at the chalet.

Very gentle start then change of slope for the climb (water point in Saint Julien). Recovery at the top of Peyrague then single-track descent to Corps with beautiful views of the Lac du Sautet.

A route that leaves its mark... A short warm-up, then a wild climb towards the Vachers and Prés-Clos passes, and a balcony crossing to the sanctuary of Notre Dame de la Salette. Unmarked route (Le Val de la Salette - Sector 5). The route connects the various hamlets of the cirque, and water points are accessible there. Take the opportunity to stock up on water, as the next section in the cirque, connecting the Col des Vachers and the Col de Pré-Clos, is strenuous but wild and magnificent. From the Col de Près-Clos, you reach the sanctuary via a beautiful balcony. At the sanctuary, enjoy a hydration stop alongside the pilgrims before embarking on the long descent to Corps, passing through the hamlets, punctuated by a few short climbs that, at the end of the route, leave their mark...

A warm-up in a forest setting, along the stream, ideal for the first outing of the year or for gently approaching the trail. After this gentle warm-up, a series of small climbs and descents will take you to the other side at the foot of the Peyragüe Mountain. The steep descent will bring you closer to the national road before gently returning to Corps via the old railway line.

On the agenda: climbs, majestic views, and crossing mountain hamlets. You will complete this tour of Peyragüe by descending from the Chauvet Pass towards Corps, to the old railway line and the market square. The warm-up along the old railway line will be very useful for tackling the climb to the Col du Chauvet, through a mixture of forest and hay meadows, punctuated by the hamlets of Côtes de Corps, typical of the region. At the Col du Chauvet, you can recover while admiring the views that open up over the Obiou, the Dévoluy, and the Cirque de la Salette. From there, the descent will take you to Saint-Julien, where you'll find water, then a quiet path will take you back to Corps, still along the old railway line.

An ascent reserved for experienced hikers, in steep and sometimes aerial terrain, which gives access to a spectacular mountain spectacle. Supervision is recommended. Parking: Departure Col de la Samblue, Pellafol - Shortly before the Col des Faïsses, take one end of the private, motorable forest track which climbs from Les Payas, a hamlet of Pellafol, a stone's throw from Corps. Journey : After about a hundred meters on the track, go up to the right and cut through the fields to reach the Col des Faïsses. From there, follow the route in the direction of Obiou to the bottom of the Vallon, a narrow rock ledge after which you descend slightly towards the mountain pastures. The path then passes under large screes and then describes an arc of a circle to the “big climb”: a very steep and long slope, which uses the strata of the rock as a staircase. At the end, we have to help each other with our hands as the slope becomes steep. Be careful and watch out for falling rocks on the following ones! You reach the Obiou pass, above which you have to cross a scree again towards the summit. The path then walks to the left, crosses the steps in very straightened steps at the edge of the void (passage of the tie), descends a little then crosses to the foot of the easy summit slope of the South-West face that we climb back up. . The descent follows the same route, beware of the steep slope.

A refreshing walk along an old but still well-alive canal, winding in the forest. The shortest trail starts from St Laurent, with the «Ambiance» walk following a loop. From La Salle, for the children, follow the «Ludique» walk; for the adults, follow the «Connaissance» walk. To do all these trails, the ideal start is St Laurent, following La Salle en Beaumont along the canal until the end of the «Connaissance» walk. Go down to La Salle en Beaumont and follow the «Connaissance» walk to go up the canal and return to St Laurent via the outward trail. When there is water in the canal, you should remain very careful especially with children and dogs since the current can be quite strong in some places, even though the canal is not very deep. Underground passages increase this risk.

Still wild and authentic, the dam lake of Sautet benefits from a stunning panorama. The nautical base (Wild Sport Adventure) offers various activities accessible to everyone. During summer, the beach is perfect for children and families since it is the unique supervised beach in Matheysine.

Ideally situated in the canyon of Le Sautet, since 1935 the dam has enabled the annual generation of 175 million kWh with a maximum output of 76,000 W.It regulates the flow of the Drac, allowing touristic and water-based activities (fishing, bathing, canoeing, zip line and via ferrata, among others) amidst the fertile farmlands of the Drac valley which has been nicknamed "little Paradise" or "little Nice". 

The "Pont de Loup" waterfall was intended to provide the electricity required for the operation of the Gap-Grenoble railway line. The advent of the automobile rendered this project pointless and the Gap-Corps section was never completed. 

2nd more important pilgrimage in France after Lourdes, this basilica is a memorable building in the religious architecture of Isère. Beyond gatherings of 15th August and 19th September, the site is worth the journey, from its 1800m height.

The artificial lake of Valbonnais is an unmissable moment to spend during summer season : sand and grass beaches, playground for children, nautical base (Asbel) (canoe, kayak and paddle rental). A restaurant is facing the lake and the campsite is very close. Fishing : perch, trout, tench, carp, gudgeon, white fishes. Fishing for people with reduced mobility. Swim at your own risk.

This château was built in 1580 by François de Bonne, the Duke of Lesdiguières and Protestant leader, on the site of a fortified house owned by his family. 

Since the Middle Ages, Entraigues and Valbonnais have been the two major towns in the valley. The towns produce an impression of coherence, despite a wide variety of architecture. In Valbonnais, we can see, in particular, the castles and fortified manor houses with their impressive dimensions and well-ordered façades, with sculpted wooden doors made for the local notables. Another witness to the town’s history is the train station: from 1926 to 1950, Valbonnais had a meter-gauge railway with electric engines (La Mure – Corps line), with a line running to the cement works downstream, near Le Pont-du-Prêtre.

To access the campervan area, take the avenue Fréjus Michon. The area is reserved for campers and is forbidden for others vehicules. Parking of vehicles must be done only in the specially designated parking spaces. The campervan area is divided in 7 different parking spaces. The following services are available in the motorhome area: - Drinking water: a drinking water tap is available on site. Its use is free and operates by pressing the tap head. The tap is exclusively reserved for refilling water tanks. - Waste disposal: chemical cassette emptying must be done in the designated receptacle located next to the water tap. Wastewater can be emptied in the ground-level inspection chamber connected to the sewage system. For hygiene reasons, users are required to comply with these rules and help keep the area clean. - Household waste: Household garbage must be disposed of in molok-type containers located 30 meters from the entrance to the area. - Toilets: Public toilets are also available nearby.
