In a quiet, wooded setting, the botanical trail, with the help of the ONF (Office National des Forêts), allows you to discover 14 tree species common to our forests. The trail covers a distance of around 2 km. Didactic cards enable you to identify them easily thanks to their description and also provide you with information on the use of their wood and their therapeutic virtues. Start from the sign at the entrance.

Built between 1843 and 1845, this temple bears witness to the development of the Reformed religion in La Roche-Chalais in the 18th and 19th centuries. The municipality decided to transform it into a cultural hall, in which exhibitions of paintings and sculptures, conferences and classical music concerts are organised.

The church of Saint-Pierre d'Abzac was first built in the 12th century and then extensively rebuilt in the 19th century, after the destruction caused by the Revolution of 1789. The present bell tower which dominates the valley of the Isle was rebuilt in 1857 above the Romanesque dome which still has its 17th century paintings. At the same time, the nave was rebuilt. The pulpit comes from the church of Saint-Jean de Libourne and the great wooden Christ from the Abbey of Faize. The church has some interesting paintings. This building was registered in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments in 1925.

This church dates from the 12th century. The old Romanesque bell tower and the apse are listed as Historical Monuments. The bell tower still keeps Romanesque elements such as its staircase. The second neo-gothic bell tower was built in 1874.
