Camias et L'Arboux deux hameaux blottis en fond de vallée, sont des lieux chargés d'histoire. Albertine Sarrazin a habité Camias pendant que son mari faisait les 400 coups à Montpellier et L'Arboux le berceau de la reine des pommes et de notre cher oignon doux. Après L'Arboux reprendre la route pour ensuite descendre sur la voie ferrée. Cette voie ferrée a transporté tant de gens et de marchandises par ses ponts et tunnels successifs.Attention à L'Arboux de bien suivre le tracé de la fiche pour revenir par la voie ferrée. Arrivé à la grande maison, ne pas remonter sur la droite, malgré les rectangles jaunes, mais descendre tout droit vers le pont submersible en béton. Arphy and the upper Coudoulous valley A lovely tour of the upper Coudoulous valley, the village of Arphy and some of its many hamlets. This varied itinerary alternates small roads, forest tracks and technical trails between the valley floor and the foothills of the Serre de la Toureille, at altitudes of between 400 and 900m. The start is at the foot of the village of Arphy, near the Temple, and involves first heading south, crossing the torrent by a footbridge, and then skirting it first on a narrow path, then on a small country road to the hamlet of Galari, the lowest point of the route. From here, head towards the hamlet, cross it, then cross the Coudoulous again by a picturesque bridge and climb up to the hamlet of La Matte and the town hall. After crossing the departmental road, the demanding climb continues along a technical path to the Col du Minier road (D48). Follow this road for a few hundred meters to take a recently widened track (DFCI G44), and then, alternating tracks and paths, reach the high point at "la Citerne", on the route de la Luzette, with some fine views over the valley. This is the start of the long descent along the Navès stream, to reach the hamlet of Bions after crossing the D48 again, and return to the village of Arphy and its picturesque lanes.

It offers a 180° south-facing view, terraced meadows inviting you to relax, a river for swimming, and a wide variety of hiking trails. Antoine and Gabrielle have been welcoming you here for 30 years. Both mountain guides, they can advise you on your hiking projects, family reunions, artist residencies and training courses. You can enjoy the nearby river, or rent a pack donkey for a day or more, and take a guided hike. Mas Corbières is a calm, enchanting place in the heart of nature, ideal for a change of scenery, a recharge of batteries and a creative outlet.

Located in the Borgne Valley, in the commune of Les Plantiers, our Fontfouillouse gîte welcomes you to an unspoilt valley at the foot of a 12th-century Romanesque church. In the midst of the Cévennes chestnut grove, we have created our group gîte. Our accommodation comprises a large living room/kitchen with direct access to the outside, and sleeping areas for up to 15 people. Ideally located, we open our house for a stopover on a hike or a longer stay, a weekend with family or friends. We look forward to welcoming you. There are no mobile homes or chalets available for rent. Lime rendering and the use of chestnut wood blend perfectly with the original stone. The garden offers a variety of relaxation areas for a well-deserved rest. Situated on the edge of the GR70 and very close to the GR61, 'Le Pré de Modestine' is the ideal place to enjoy the end of Stevenson's route, or to organize hikes to discover the Cévennes.
