Departure from the Cabanon du Maupas (parking in front of the cellar), take the direction of Châtillon-en-Diois. Discover the charming village of Châtillon and its surroundings by bike and family. Departure from the village of Châtillon, follow the markers n ° 10 of green color. Crossing at the crossroads Le Moulin 1, Champassiasse 2 then Pont de Menglon 3. Return to the village by joining Le Moulin again.

Discover the unspoiled nature of the Vallon du Paradis, from the Abbey of Valcroissant you will walk along the slopes of the Glandasse mountain. Departure from the Abbey of Valcroissant (parking), you are at one of the many entrance doors allowing access to the Reserve Naturel des Hauts Plateaux du Vercors. The hike starts with a very progressive ascent to the crossroads Le Fays 1. Continue towards Les Quatres Chemins 2, then Le Comptoir à Moutons 3 by a very nice path with numerous points of view which leads to Col Fauchard 4. From there, always following the yellow-green markings, the itinerary goes down slightly to the Col de l'Abbaye 5. Take the direction of Pas de la Roche 7 by the GR 95 (white-red markings), go to the crossroads L'Allier 6 and then take the forest track for a moment. At Pas de la Roche, finish the circuit by the small road that leads to the car park of the Abbey.

The Archiane Circus has become a breeding ground for the tawny vulture. It combines many assets to generate exceptional aerology and facilitate the flight. The cliffs, their verticality, their extent, their limestone nature and their southern exposure, offer an exceptional habitat. The "Vulture Trail" provides a better understanding of the presence of four species of Vultures present in the Vercors. Departure from Archiane (parking 200 meters before the hamlet), join the first houses by the small road, a directional sign invites you to follow "The Vultures Trail" through L'Aubaise 1. By the GR 93, a path furrowing in the boxwood makes it possible to reach the crossroads of L'Aubaise. From there, leave the GR that goes north and the High Plateaux of the Vercors to Belvedere 2. After a nice break at this beautiful place, continue on the trail always following the yellow and green markings. You soon arrive at the bottom of Cirque d'Archiane. The rest of the path leads gradually to the starting point of this magnificent walk.

Go on the heights around the Rocher de Combau, magnificent panoramas await you on the south of the hauts plateaux du Vercors in particular. Departure of Nonières (parking in the hamlet), direction Col de Côte Chèvre 1. Follow the yellow-green markings and take the path just behind the hotel "Le Mont Barral". Farther on, cut the road to Col de Menée and continue between forests and clearings. The trail follows a wood of spruces and pines with hooks to emerge at the Col de Côte Chèvre. After enjoying the spectacular view, this hike continues through the crossing of a scree before reaching the road at the crossroads Granges de Combau 2. For a moment, take the road that goes around the rock of Combau, to the directional post that tells you Liodève 3. From there, leave the tar for a nice path in the underbrush that runs along the creek of Combau (always yellow and green markings). After crossing the road again twice, reach Liodève. The return to Nonières is effected by the GR 93.

A family stroll along the water of the Pas des Ondes, true "oasis” of the Baronnies Provençales. By being parked in the Pas des Ondes car park (parking and access to the water body in July and August are not free), return to the entrance gate of the site. Take the bank path between the Oule river and the lake : The starting point of the theme trail "Faune aquatique du Pas des Ondes" is located there. Follow this flat path for 600 meters to the end of the second lake and pass to the left of the educational pond. 1- Shortly after the two fishing pontoons, facing the hill surmounted by the ruins of the castle, take the small path that goes up the slope. After a turn on the left, the path leads to another path: take a right on this new path crossing towards the river, down to a road. Take a left on the path which turns into a path and join the bank of the river to a pebble beach. 2- Turn back and join the previous intersection. 3- Follow straight on the flat path between the river and the treatment plant and return to the educational pond. 4- Continue the tour of the water bodies along the banks by the flat road or the path through the grass that can be seen near the shores of water bodies.

On the flanks of the southern fringe of the Vercors, the gentle ridge dotted with lavender, offers breathtaking views of the imposing cliffs of Glandasse and a remarkable beech forest with a return to the torrent bed.

Ce circuit roulant de 13 km dans la Vallée de l’Oule peut constituer une première étape pour progresser vers les parcours rouges. Il comporte de beaux passages en sous-bois, aux abords de ruines et sur les crêtes qui bordent la Montagne de Maraysse. Pour commencer, l’itinéraire se compose de 10 km de piste forestière. Sans difficulté à la montée, cette première portion est roulante et commune avec les Chemins du Soleil. Un panneau explique l’histoire de l’exploitation forestière et agricole de la vallée de l’Oule. Peu après le lieu-dit « les Garenses » (1170 m), possibilité de continuer la piste forestière (au lieu de prendre le sentier) sur 1 km environ jusqu’à atteindre la crête de Maraysse. Il y a une table de pique-nique et un panorama de la crête. Les 3 derniers kilomètres, sur sentier, sont plus techniques avec des descentes raides, ravines et ornières. Cette portion est idéale pour se faire plaisir avec une première approche sur terrain technique. On finit la randonnée sur une piste forestière agréable et bien indiquée avant de se retrouver sur la route menant au cœur du village de Montmorin.

Un circuit sportif et engagée pour découvrir le calme de la vallée de l’Oule et profiter d’un panorama sur les montagnes avoisinantes. Au départ de Montmorin, remonter la route sur 4 km jusqu’à la maison forestière de la forêt domaniale du Val d’Oule. Emprunter la piste forestière roulante pour remonter 600 m de dénivelé sur 6.5 km, jusqu’aux plaines du Duffre. Prendre à gauche pour entreprendre la descente. Le début se fait sur un sentier en balcon ; la vue dégagée permet d’observer la vallée de l’Oule, la montagne de Maraysse et par temps clair d’apercevoir le Mont Ventoux. Attention tout de même à quelques portions techniques par temps humide. Passage ensuite en sous-bois sur un single track roulant et très joueur sans difficulté. Descendre désormais une ancienne piste enherbée sous le col des pros et rester attentif aux lacets peu visibles. Poursuivre sur un sentier technique. Attention, une portion d’environ 50 m nécessite de descendre du vélo pour ne pas chuter (panneau de danger présent sur place). La partie haute de la sente est plutôt roulante et fluide puis plus cassante et avec des épingles de niveau moyen sur la deuxième partie. Ce sentier ramène auprès de la maison forestière. Rejoindre le point de départ par la même route.

Itinéraire sans difficulté technique, entièrement sur piste forestière pour découvrir la sauvage vallée de l'Oule. Ce circuit passe au Col des Praux et tout près de nos voisins Drômois. Prendre la D 26 à la descente, direction Bruis. Abandonner le circuit N°1 (le ruisseau des Combes) en tournant à droite sur la piste de l'Infernet. Pas moins de 4 itinéraires vélo sont en communs dans cette forêt domaniale de l'Oule jusqu'au carrefour des Plaines. Prendre à droite. Rester avec les vététistes du circuit n°7. En prenant progressivement de la hauteur, le panorama s'élargit vers le géant de Provence, à savoir le Mont Ventoux. Au croisement (1255 m), rejoindre le col des Praux (ou bien pour éviter de faire 500 m de plus pour aller au col des Praux, prendre la piste qui descend à droite. Attention aux rigoles d'écoulement d'eau et aux randonneurs pédestres du GR 91).Descendre à droite par le sentier. Atteindre une route, tourner à droite et longer l'Oule jusqu'à Montmorin.

The state forest of Glandasse covers more than 21 km². Under Mediterranean influence, there are mainly oaks and black pines. The latter, because of their relative rusticity and good tolerance to the soil, were a kind of choice in the reforestation work as part of the Mountain Restoration Policy (RTM) Administration of Water and Forests at the beginning of the twentieth century to fight erosion of the slopes.

The mountain of Glandasse dominates the Diois from the top of its 2,041 meters. Its cliffs are popular for climbing, while the plateau at its summit is a place of estive for many sheep. Included in the nature reserve of the Hauts Plateaux of the Vercors, the fauna and flora are rich. From the Col des Caux, it is the Roc d'Ambane (1,958 m) that stands in front of you.

The Mountain of Glandasse is particularly appreciated of the ibexes that were gradually reintroduced in the Vercors, from 1989.This majestic hoof can weigh up to 120 kilos, with horns that can exceed 90 cm (for males). Sexual dimorphism is important. The males are provided with a goatee and above all imposing horns arched and adorned with beads. Those of the females are much shorter. The coat of males is generally darker than that of females, varying from chocolate brown to gray depending on the season.

On the slopes of the Glandasse mountain, the abbey of Valcroissant was founded around 1188, it takes its name from the stream La Valcroissant which flows nearby. The construction of the abbey, between the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century, combines the characteristic forms of Romanesque art with the beginnings of the Gothic. The lack of financial resources and the difficulties of the 15th and 16th centuries accelerated the deterioration of buildings. Beginning in 1568, the abbey no longer had a function as a farm.This Cistercian abbey has been classified as a historical monument since 1971. Many restoration works have since been carried out by the owners in collaboration with the association "Friends of Valcroissant".

The impressive limestone cliffs of the circus of Archiane dominate the hamlet of the same name of more than 1000 m. More than 100 million years ago, we were here under an ocean, this one deposited the sediments that now form the plateau of the Vercors. Then, the uprising of the Alps, as well as erosion gave its current form to the site. It is a place where the fauna (Bouquetin, Chamois, Gypaète Barbu, Griffon Vulture ...) and the flora are rich there. Outdoor activities are also very present with hiking and climbing.

At the heart of a mountain village, a fully restored, eco-friendly house of traditional architecture, with 2 large bedrooms, full of charms. This bed and breakfast was granted the 'Chambre d'hôtes référence®' award, a label by 'Offices de Tourisme de France®.' 3 bedrooms (2 forming a suite). Snacks available at the village.

A stop-over on the GR91 hiking path, close to many walking, cycling or horse riding trails, it offers a well-deserved rest at the heart of a preserved environment and a picturesque village. If you are a group of more than 8, bivouac is an option (please call the mairie for confirmation on 04 75 21 41 86). You can combine a sleep over with a breakfast/meal in the evening at Le Bistrot restaurant when it is open. Stop over lodging for 8 in bunk beds. Bathroom and toilets. Functional kitchen with a small fridge. Bring your own duvet. Bed linen and bath towels are not provided. Payement by credit card is available but subject to a functionning internet connexion.

The campsite and its lake are at the heart of the Drôme, at the foothills of the Vercors mountains and a perfect gateway to Provence. This is the campsite where everything sparkles! Sun, lake, nature and the famous Clairette - the region's sparkling wine - will delight the whole family. A warm family welcome awaits you in our campsite with fun activities for everyone. Our delimited tent pitches are spacious, shaded, with views of the mountains. Between vineyards and lavender fields, under the walnut tree’s shade or in the sun, come and find the perfect pitch for a relaxing holiday. Water will be the common thread running through your stay: enjoy peaceful swimming in the campsite lake, warm and comfort in the indoor heated swimming pool or adventures in the local rivers, where you can practice canoeing and/or canyoning. The surrounding mountains invite you to enjoy family outings and hikes to discover the Vercors Regional Nature Park and the Nature Reserve. More sporty pursuits include le Claps via ferrata (an astonishing rocky chaos), mountain biking on the Chemins du Soleil trail or hikes on la Grande Traversée du Vercors (GTV) trails. Located at the heart of a hamlet in a small village, a 10 km drive from Die, you are welcome in our restored family house, on a self-catering, half or full-board basis. You can admire views of the Glandasse mountain-South Vercors mountain range-from the bedroom's balcony. Stopover accommodation for 8 people. 2 bedrooms for 2 persons (with 1 double bed) and a 4 persons bedroom (1 double bed and a bunk bed for 2). There is a large vaulted room and a bathroom on the ground floor, three bedrooms upstairs accessible from a sheltered staircase outside. The house is simple but welcoming ! You can practice many outdoor activities nearby.

In the heart of the medieval village of Châtillon-en-Diois, the campsite offers 100 pitches and 4 canvas mobile homes on a flat, shady site in the mid-mountain region, at an altitude of 560 meters. Land dominated on one side by Glandasse (2041 m) and on the other by the Piegu and Piemard mountains. A trout river (Le Bez) runs alongside the property. In the village, you'll find a grocery store, butcher's shop, delicatessen, bakery, pastry shop, newsagent's, tobacconist's, souvenir shop, doctor, pharmacy, post office, police station, garage and various craftsmen.

At a dozen kms from Die, Luc or Châtillon, Agnès welcomes you in a quiet and friendly atmosphere, in an old barn restored with charm and simplicity. King size bed, organic breakfast with homemade jams. Starting point of many hikes. At the foothills of Solaure mountain. Terrace with a stunning view. For stargazers, no light pollution in the village: street lighting is off at 11 pm. You can even spot stars from your bed ! A minimum of 2 nights is required. 2 bedrooms (1 with a double bed and one with a double and a single) in a large, tastefully renovated village house. Breakfast made with wide range of homemade products served on the terrace in Summer with superb mountain views. There is lounge to relax on the ground floor. On the first floor you will find the guest rooms with 2 bedrooms and their bathrooms. The 20m² bedroom has a king size bed and a bathtub in the bathroom. The 32m² bedroom has a bathroom and shower, 2 single beds that can be combined to make a super king size bed, and an extra single bed. The toilet is in the bathroom. You can sunbathe on the deckchairs of our South-East facing terrace on the landing where breakfast is served! There is a living room on the ground floor and separate entrance for the living room and the bedrooms.
