Seat of a former archpriest who had 10 parishes. Rectangular nave, not vaulted (the gutters are partially from the 12th century), followed by a smooth, semi-circular choir-apse, vaulted with a cul-de-four without an impost string. The triumphal arch is semicircular. In the 14th or 15th century, a chest (with a defence chamber) was mounted on the apse, which, although sitting on a semicircle, is polygonal. The western façade is a naked rectangle, pierced by a simple door under a pointed arch, and an oculus. There is another ogival door to the south. The whole is not made of regular apparatus, but of sandstone rubble.

La Cave Le Petit Pigeonnier is located in St. Chamassy near Le Bugue. In the past there were many vineyards in the department, mostly for family use. But after the war these almost all disappeared. Today, it is one of the few wineries in the vicinity of St. Chamassy* Created in 2005 in St. Chamassy, the small Merlot vineyard was expanded with plots in Bugue and Audrix. The result is 1 ha of vines on 3 types of soil. The aim is to produce a good quality red wine, which was already produced in this region. In 2007 a new cellar was built for the treatment of the grapes. With the aim to treat the grapes with modern but old-fashioned means. Jean-Jacques Servolle, an established Master Artisan of Cured Meats and Tinned Foods, runs the old-fashioned production of this family business. The products contain pork, duck and goose raised in France, and they are prepared by our teams in our laboratories based in Saint-Chamassy, at the heart of the magnificent Périgord area. Framed by the Vézère and the Dordogne, the commune of Saint-Chamassy dominates the confluence of the two rivers: Vézère and Dordogne. This commune, whose name comes from the Occitan deformation of Saint Eumache, was over the centuries under the domination of the lords of Bigaroque and then of Limeuil. The church of St. Eumach owes its name to St. Eumachus, confessor of the 6th century. The oldest part of the church dates from the 15th century and was connected to the castle by a Gothic portal. This portal as well as a part of the castle and the church were burnt down during the religious wars. At the end of the 18th century, a slate-roofed bell tower was built on one side of the building, giving the whole complex a special character. Inside the church, one can admire a Way of the Cross as well as a 15th century Christ.
