The church of St. Eumach owes its name to St. Eumachus, confessor of the 6th century. The oldest part of the church dates from the 15th century and was connected to the castle by a Gothic portal. This portal as well as a part of the castle and the church were burnt down during the religious wars. At the end of the 18th century, a slate-roofed bell tower was built on one side of the building, giving the whole complex a special character. Inside the church, one can admire a Way of the Cross as well as a 15th century Christ.
