If you're looking for a wellness break in an unspoilt natural setting, with friends or family, the Moulin de Cordouen, between Mayenne and Orne, offers a quality service with its sauna and Nordic bath on the River Mayenne. The Moulin has been redesigned by an architect to offer spacious accommodation in every room, with bay windows to take advantage of the waterfall and the landscape. Agathe Letellier took over the family farm 20 years ago, specialising it in cider-based production: the production and transformation of apples and pears. The farm’s 25 hectares of high stem orchards now enable the production of vinegar, pure apple juice, 3 varieties of cider, pommeau and a range of Calvados Pays d’Auge blends and pure apple brandies. Located 4km from Honfleur, the Bois du Breuil is one of the rare forests on the coastline and is open to the public. This forest covering 120 hectares is the property of the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal Conservancy). Great variety of species (32 listed species including oak, beech, Scots pine and maritime pine), a fine population of naturalised rhododendrons, large 1,200m path lined with beech trees dating from 1850. Preserved natural wealth thanks to meticulous management in keeping with nature. Access via the RD62 (Equemauville-Pennedepie road). 2 car parks. Located in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, the Domaine de la Pommeraie in Gonneville-sur-Honfleur, was created in 1972. Its groups of old buildings, built in traditional style, is equipped with the latest techniques in distilling and storage. Free tours and tasting sessions.

Pennedepie beach is one of the wild beaches of the Côte Fleurie. The beach remains very quiet even during the high summer season. However, there is no first-aid post in the commune, so you need to be very careful. Note that the beach disappears at high tide, so swimming is only possible at low tide. The Maison de l'Estuaire organizes regular outings on this beach, so don't hesitate to call 02 35 24 80 00 for more information. There are two ways to get to the beach from the center of Pennedepie. The first, via rue de la mer, is closed to non-residents, and parking is very difficult (access on foot only). A second access is possible in the direction of Cricqueb?uf, 800 meters after rue de la mer (easily recognizable by a barrier limiting vehicle height).

The Vasouy beach is located just outside Honfleur, heading towards Villerville. This large, unspoilt sandy beach belongs to the commune of Vasouy (part of Honfleur). In a natural environment with cliffs, you can forget the proximity of the port areas of Le Havre and Rouen. Caution: bathing not supervised. To reach the beach from the center of Honfleur, take the D513 towards Villerville. After 3 km, you arrive in the village of Vasouy. After the town hall (on the roadside), there is a small path on the right which leads to a small parking lot.

The beach at Cricqueboeuf is little-known and rarely visited, except by regulars in search of peace and wilderness. It lies at the entrance to the Seine estuary, opposite Le Havre, and is an extension of Villerville beach. It's much quieter than its Calvados counterparts! At high tide, the beach is almost non-existent, as the sea covers it almost entirely. While there are plenty of pebbles, sand appears at low tide when the sea is uncovered. Please note that this beach is not supervised.

Located at the entrance to Honfleur from the coast road, the Butin beach offers all the facilities you need for a safe and comfortable summer holiday: free parking nearby, showers, cabins, equipment hire and a children's play area. Supervised swimming (July and August). The little extras Seahorse chairs are available free of charge in July and August for disabled bathers. The beaches of Vasouy and Pennedepie, just down the road, will appeal to those who prefer a more secluded setting. Walking your dog Dogs may only be walked on the Plage du Butin before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m., provided they are kept on a leash.

The Manoir du Désert, listed as a Monument Historique in 1928, was built for the Le Danois brothers, a family of shipowners from Honfleur. It is representative of the noble architecture of the late Middle Ages in the Pays d'Auge. Its materials and structure bear witness to the skills and importance of the building at the time. The first floor is composed of a checkerboard pattern of limestone and flint. The upper floor is timber-framed. A staircase turret is attached to the main façade. The lookout room at the top was used to keep an eye on the Seine estuary. This room contains numerous marine graffiti. Owned by Mademoiselle TURGIS in the 1920s, it became the property of the City of Honfleur in the 1970s following a donation by the Société du Vieux Honfleur, Mademoiselle TURGIS's legatee. It was recently restored by the town in 2021. The manor house can only be visited on certain occasions. We offer one guided tour per month during the season (full price: 6 ? reduced price: 4 ?). The manor is also open for special events such as Pierres en Lumières, JEP, open-air cinema and dramatized tours (full price: 10? / reduced price: 6?).

Built during the 17th century, this chapel is richly adorned with paintings and models of ships offered ex voto by sailors. The esplanade bordering the chapel offers fine panoramic views of the Seine estuary, the port of Le Havre and the Pont de Normandie (Normandy Bridge).
