In the Massif Central, the term "suc" refers to a rocky peak, whether volcanic or not. The Suc de Vent, like its neighbours, is not volcanic. At the top of the Suc de Vent, occupied by an antenna, you can enjoy a partial panorama.

You can find the hiking routes in the topo guides available from the Tourist Office. According to the Ay legend, a shepherdess fell into the water. As she fell, she shouted "Aie! Notre-Dame! Aie!". An invisible hand stopped her fall and she was saved. Hence the name given to the river and the site. Accessible during the fishing season with its No Kill courses, the two natural rivers are remarkable and will allow you to enjoy nature to the full. Set in a haven of peace, the church at Veyrines is one of the very few churches in the Haut-Vivarais to have preserved its medieval architecture, dating from the 12th century in a pure Romanesque style. The building has been listed as a historic monument since 1939.

It's a set of 6 small cliffs in a magnificent frame, in the middle of pines and in the confluence of two small streams. This site is also appreciate by walkers and families to picnic.
