Hiking Trail: The Crouzet trail

Set in a haven of peace, the church at Veyrines is one of the very few churches in the Haut-Vivarais to have preserved its medieval architecture, dating from the 12th century in a pure Romanesque style. The building has been listed as a historic monument since 1939.

Ce château dont il ne reste que quelques pans de murs, fut le centre de la seigneurie éponyme. Son site est remarquable, perché sur un promontoire rocheux. Le château semble avoir été édifié autour de l’an 1100.
