The Exhibition of the Art Professions is housed in the Villedieu-les-Poêles Tourist Office. The exhibition area of 90 m² is situated opposite the reception.Three times per year, this area is replenished with new works of art from the artisans and are on sale to the public. These exhibitions constantly surprise visitors by the diverse multitude of materials worked, the different techniques used and the diverse and varied inspiration of the Norman and French artisans of art.

Dating back to end 15th /early 16th century, Notre-Dame de Villedieu church gives the most authentic account of the creation of the famous town of copper and the collective memory of its inhabitants. Its walls and its decorations are impregnated with the atmosphere of the struggles for power, historic events and the faith of the Sourdins (Villedieu-les-Poêles inhabitants) over the centuries. Semondière Castle was built at the turn of the 16th century. This elegant little, Louis 13th-style château is protected by a moat and was the seat of the Counts of Brécey. The carefully furnished and decorated interior plunges the visitor into the world of Norman nobility. Also, discover the life of Jean de Julienne, collector and patron of painter Antoine Watteau. Rooms can be rented for seminars and banquets.

The manor of Lerre in Champcervon, built towards the end of the 15th century, comprises four buildings forming a square courtyard. The lower room of the dwelling includes a monumental chimney as well as a circulation gallery, an architectural device typical of the late Middle Ages. The manor house of Lerre is registered as a Historic Monument since December 2016. Visit the exterior of the manor and the lower room of the dwelling.

The site of the Duke’s castle has been carefully restored for the benefit of visitors. A stroll through the ruins of the old castle is enhanced by the information boards which explain its history. This calm and restful location also enjoys wonderful views of Gavray and as far as Coutances.
