It?s easy, it?s in Gan and 10 minutes from Pau on the TER line 55. This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Travel among the trees, the Arboretum de Payssas, an integral part of a private property, has 500 trees and shrubs, conifers and broad-leaved trees representing 130 original species from the entire world. Planted from 1930 by Jean Bourdet who continued planting up to his last days (1994) this wild wood offers the visitor a proven scientific heritage and a remarkable natural site. Along the easily accessible 1.2km path, you will be able to tour the world with 26 magnificent trees : cedars of Lebanon, Monterey pines, marsh oaks, etc.

Saint-Faust is a charming Béarnais village situated high up on the slopes of the Jurançon vineyard, with a view of the Pyrenees. In the centre of the village, right next to the sports complex, you will find picnic tables on a small square. For rainy days, there is also a concrete shelter under which several benches are placed. The toilets are right next door. The place is perfectly calm in the heart of a quiet village.

At the gateway to the Ossau Valley, at the Croix de Buzy, 8 km from Arudy, the Etable d'Ossau restaurant awaits you for a gourmet break. The restaurant, located at the start of the Croix de Buzy walk, is a former 19th-century sheepfold. In the 1990s, it was renovated to create a crêperie. Today, the restaurant and tearoom "L'étable d'Ossau" has established itself on this path. The restaurant features local produce and boasts a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. Laroin is a small village six kilometers west of Pau. "La Maison des Lacs" is located between three fishing lakes and the Gave de Pau. It is a charming country setting.
