Zugang: Im Zentrum von Saint-Amé biegen Sie links zum Rathaus ab und gehen weiter in Richtung Stadion. Parkplatz: Großer Parkplatz des Stadions (angepasst). Entfernung: 1,1 km / Dauer: 30 Min. / Höhenunterschied: 25 m / Markierung: Fuchs auf blauem Grund (Sandweg und botanischer Pfad). 1) Vom Parkplatz aus gehen Sie auf den Sandwegen (kleiner Kreis) in Richtung Étang du Miroir aux Merles, dann wieder am Parkplatz entlang und zurück zu einem Aussichtspunkt auf Saint-Amé. 2) Gehen Sie zurück zur Umgebung des Picknickhäuschens und nehmen Sie den botanischen Pfad Sentier Botanique du Houx (verschiedene Baumarten). 3) An der Straße: Gehen Sie wieder hinauf zum Parkplatz oder gehen Sie nach rechts in Richtung Dorfzentrum.

Access: From Remiremont, go to Saint-Amé. In the centre of the village (opposite the church), turn left, pass the town hall and go to the stadium. Parking: Park in the stadium car park. Distance: 10 km / Duration: 3 h / Ascent: 350m / Signs: red ring. Take the path along the car park towards the stadium. At the disabled parking spaces, turn left. The first red ring marker is there, and you start to walk around the old Miroir au Merle pond. At the end of the pond, cross the bridge to the left and take the path that climbs into the forest opposite. Follow the markings which vary between path and small road until you reach a relay antenna. Pass in front of the relay antenna, to join the path marked out opposite. A little further on, leave the path and take the road to the next crossroads with the road. At this crossroads with the road, it is possible to make a left turn to the Monroche viewpoint (climbing site). On the spot: picnic table. To continue the walk: turn right onto the marked path that climbs up. Pass a small quarry and a viewpoint. Continue on the path that goes to the right for about 1km to end up at the large quarry, take time to admire the view. There is a covered picnic table. To leave, continue on the path straight ahead. At the next big crossroads with a path, turn left downhill. Then, a little further down at the crow's feet, continue to follow the road downhill on the right, always following the red ring markings. At the crossroads at the bottom of the road, turn right onto the road which very quickly becomes a carriageway. 100m further on, turn left for a smaller path that goes down into the forest. Be careful, the path is rocky! Opposite a small quarry below, leave the path for a nice mossy path in the forest on the left. At the intersection of the paths after the descent, opposite a fence, turn right and then right again 50m further on to go along a dry pond. At the end of the path, again at an intersection opposite a quarry, turn left. When you reach the active quarry, go straight on along it. Stay on the road to the right: be careful if you are walking during the week, the quarry is still in operation, there is a lot of traffic, especially lorries which serve the quarry which is still in operation. Stay on the road for another 300m or so and leave it for a path that goes left into the forest. The path soon becomes a footpath on the right. Continue to follow the markings along the houses. The path alternates between a road and a footpath, which leads to the stadium car park along the housing estate.

Distance: 11.6 km / Duration: 3 hrs 50 mins / Difference in altitude: 500m / Signs: blue disc. Take the path along the car park towards the stadium. At the disabled parking spaces, turn left. On the flat area at the top of the hill, at a crossroads with other paths where you can see a "pilot's stele" sign, turn left following the signs until you see another sign. Turn left towards the Pont des Fées and the Saint-Mont via the monks' path. Be careful, the descent to the Pont des Fées can be a bit rough in some places. At the end of the path on the carriage road, turn left and then immediately right to cross the Pont des Fées. Follow the path that climbs after the Pont des Fées to a crossroads, then continue on the left. Higher up, at a stump, turn right to take a rocky path that joins the car access road that leads to the Saint-Mont 100m further on. Enjoy the site and the 360° view! On site: chapel, remains and benches. To leave, go under the arch, go down the first steps then turn left, cross the clearing below the Saint-Mont then go down to the right to go along the excavations which are a little further down. After the excavations, turn left to join the carriage road, then turn right down it. Shortly after the barrier, turn left towards the Chapelle du Vieux Saint-Amé. Be careful on the descent, which is a little steep and, above all, full of stones at certain points. Arrive at the Chapelle du Vieux Saint-Amé. On the spot: 3 picnic tables and benches. To leave, pass in front of the cave and then the chapel and take the path on the left which descends between the benches and tables. At the end of this path, at the crossroads with a track, turn left. Go through the barrier and join the road. Be careful if you are walking during the week, the quarry is still in operation and there is a lot of traffic, especially lorries. After about 300m, leave the road for a path that goes left into the forest. The path soon becomes a footpath on the right. Continue to follow the markings along the houses. Alternating paths, roads and trails lead to the stadium car park along the housing estates.

Access: Go to the Centre of Dommartin-lès-remiremont. Go towards Vagney and after about 1 km, turn right towards the old Brasserie. Parking: Park in front of the small pond. Distance: 6 km / Duration: 2 h / Difference in altitude: 270m / Markings: red ring. 1) Follow the red rings all the way. Cross the road and climb up a winding path. 2) At the top of the hill, make a return trip to the rock viewpoint (silence zone recommended). 3) Go back down and continue the route downhill towards the Col de Cheneau. 4) Cross the road at the pass and take the path on the right that goes down to the car park, crossing the ruins of the old Villemard farm.

This circuit, which takes approximately 2½ hours to complete, alternates between snow-covered forests and meadows, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the Pissoire waterfall, the Blancfaing lake and the Moyemont orientation table. Duration: 2½ hours

Access: From Remiremont, take the direction of Dommartin-lès-Remiremont. Parking: Park in the car park in front of the Town Hall. Distance: 5.8 km / Duration: 1 h 45 / Difference in altitude: 240m / Marked out: blue ring. 1) Go up between the two restaurants, on the other side of the road, follow the path marked out blue circle which by a large uphill path arrives, via a viewpoint (chalet), on the plateau. 2) It is possible to go back to the Goat Church and then leave the path and go down to the right to reach the Virgin of May (viewpoint over the valley). 3) Then continue the descent and before arriving on the small road, go to the right on a path that runs along the forest and return, by a road at the end, to the car park.

Access : Centre of Vecoux. Parking: Park in the car park in front of the town hall. Distance: 8.6 km / Duration: 3 h / Ascent: 320 m / Signs: Blue ring. 1) Walk past the church and turn right towards Reherrey. Then follow the blue ring signs all the way. 2) Follow the road to the bottom of the buildings (leave 2 roads leading to the houses on your left). 3) In the hamlet of Reherrey, after the farm, cross the road and go up towards the Source de Chaudefontaine. 4) Continue to climb to reach the Gros Chêne. Follow the small road (flat then uphill) towards the Croix du Cucheron. 5) Go back down and make a small diversions towards the Vierge de Vecoux.

Access: From the town hall, in front of the church and turn right towards Reherrey. Follow the signs "Parking des Cucherons" for about 3 km, by the Gros Chêne road. Parking: Parking des Cucherons (tourist sign). Distance: 2 km / Duration: 45 min / Difference in altitude: 125 m / Marked out: Red disc. 1) Take the small road (red disc beaconing) up to the orientation table and the viewpoint. 2) Follow the markings on a flat path then slightly downhill to a path. 3) Leave the signposting, go up to the right and then go down towards the road to return to the car park.

Access: Take the direction of St Etienne les Remiremont. At the Centre roundabout, take the direction of the Gendarmerie Mobile barracks then Saint Romary(Auberge) park in the car park opposite the Auberge, on the other side of the road. Itinerary: go up the main road. At the intersection of the two marked paths, follow straight ahead the marked path (blue ring then three markings) which will take us to the top of the Saint Mont, leaving on the left towards the archaeological excavations. From the top, go down from the plateau following again the triple beaconing towards the Pont des Fées. Cross it and take on the left the big path marked out red ring to join another marking (red triangle) to be followed towards the left while going down to join the road. Follow it on the left, always going down to join the car park. Distance : 4,2 km Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes Difference in height 200 m markings: blue ring, three markings, red ring and red triangle.

Access: From St-Etienne-lès-Remiremont, at the roundabout in the centre, towards the mobile police station. Continue to climb towards the Domaine Saint-Romary. After the domain, stay on the road until the next crossing on the right with a dirt road. Parking: Park 100m further on at the hiking sign. Distance: 7 km / Duration: 2 h 30 / Difference in height: 350m / Signs: red ring to the Hermitage Saint Arnould then yellow ring. On the carriage road, park at a crossroads with hiking trails. From there, follow the red ring signposting by turning right towards the Pont des fées to reach it. Just before the Pont des fées, take the Sentier des Moines on the left which climbs for a while. Follow the signs until you reach the Ermitage Saint Arnould. Take the time to admire a nice view of Saint-Etienne les Remiremont shortly before arriving there. On the spot at the Saint Arnould hermitage: small viewpoint, engraved rock, remains and archaeological excavations. This is the moment when the signposting changes. From now on, take the yellow ring signposting which leaves on a path on the right after the Saint Arnould cross. Follow this signposting which will change from a path to a track to reach the Kerlinquin stone (745m altitude). At the crossroads, turn left, then 50m further on take the leftmost path. Keep to the signs and take the path that will lead you to the Sainte-Sabine chapel. On site: chapel and fountain. To leave the site, go behind the chapel and then go up on the left to take the path, which is always marked with a yellow ring. Further up, at the crossroads at the level of a large cross, take the road which descends on the left. Follow this path and the yellow ring markings for more than a kilometre. Leave the road and take a marked path to the right. Be careful, the descent to the starting point is a bit steep: take your time!

Departing from Lausanne, head to the medieval town of Gruyères, home to the famous Swiss cheese!  Leave Lausanne by bus and climb up into the alpine pastures to reach Gruyères.  After a tour around the town, your guide will take you to a Swiss chocolate factory to show you how famous Swiss chocolate is made.  Then head to an old alpine cheese factory. Enjoy a Swiss cheese tasting and learn more about the national dish: fondue.  Learn to make your own Swiss fondue and try the traditional dish.  After your meal, relax and climb on board the Golden Express, a panoramic train which crosses the alpine pastures and the heights of Lake Geneva. Enjoy incredible views of the lake and the Alps. When you get off the train, get back on your bus and head to Lavaux and its terraced vineyards. This 1st category pond allows you to fish for carnivorous fish (pikes, perch, trout) and white fish (carp, roach, tench, etc.). The site is shaded and pleasantly laid out: picnic tables and a barbecue area are available.

From the village of Rochesson, go towards Vagney. After 3 km turn left towards Gerbamont - Saut du Bouchot. Continue 250m. The waterfall is located after the bend below the car park. Take the steps to the wooden bridge 50 meters below at the foot of the waterfall. From here you can take the trail on the left marked with red discs and red crosses which follows the river to the small waterfall located 500 m. Retrace your steps.

The small Saint-Del chapel in Gerbamont was built in 1716. In spite of a very sober exterior architecture (three walls are made of plastered granite and the entrance façade is made of pink sandstone), this building houses some treasures...

This site, protected by the Conservatoire des Sites Lorrains, can be discovered thanks to a 1.5 km educational trail. In addition to a remarkable launching platform for paragliders, Chèvre-Roche offers a magnificent view of the surrounding balloons and mountains, as well as a glimpse into the geology of the Vosges. The "7 steeples" viewpoint: ideally situated over the Mosellotte valley, this place known for offering a wide panorama over 7 surrounding communes (will you find them?), also allows you to observe the Servance balloon, the Alsace balloon and, by continuing its observation towards the north, the route of the crests up to the Rainkopf and the Kastelberg.

For safety reasons, access to the Moselotte river in the Gorges de Crosery area, as well as traffic on the footbridge spanning the gorges, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED as of April 12, 2025 AND UNTIL FUTURE ORDER.

An exhibition of more than 1500 minerals, a magical black lighted room, a collection of fossils that include the footprint of a Vosges dinosaur, a genuine mammoth shinbone, a unique tracking of the 800 rocks of the Vosges Mountains, but also lectures, thematic movies and a laboratory. The Geology Centre is a crossroads of knowledge and discoveries where amateurs and professionals are honoured. It was built on a historical location of granite and granite workers to whom a tribute is paid with its park. Open on: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. Groups and schools: Guided visits on appointment all year round, morning and afternoon, 15 people min. During 2019: A two-level exhibition regrouping minerals, rocks and fossils thus tracing the Earth’s history. The outside park is free and presents all manner of granite-working tools. One of the biggest collections in the whole of France with the black light room and the famous quartz ghost.

Built between 1724 and 1726 thanks to remarkable community involvement, the church of Saint-Amé reflects the village’s deep religious roots. Consecrated in 1732, it retains the typical architecture of 18th-century Vosges churches: a simple nave, an ornate choir, and a slender bell tower. Highlights include: A communion rail in wrought iron, dated 1774 and listed as a Historic Monument since 1956. A main granite altar, created in 1962 by local stonemasons, in response to the Vatican II liturgical reforms. Choir stained glass windows by the Mauméjean workshop, and nave windows by renowned master glassmaker Gabriel Loire. A 19th-century pipe organ, crafted by the Géhin brothers, local organ builders — now a listed historic instrument. A reliquary containing a relic of Saint Amé, founder of the Saint-Mont monastery and namesake of the village. The church bears witness to centuries of local spirituality and communal heritage, rooted in monastic tradition and popular devotion.

Inaugurated in September 1936, this memorial pays tribute to the emblematic figures of Saint-Mont. A bronze statue of Saint Amé sits majestically at the end of a path. This is flanked by eight Vosges granite steles, each adorned with a medallion representing a saint who left their mark on the history of the site: Saint Perpetua, Saint Gerbétrude, Saint Claire, Saint Romaric, Saint Arnould, Saint Mactefelde, Saint Adelphe and Saint Emmon. A spiritual and historical site that invites reflection and discovery of the region's rich religious heritage.
