From Nueil-Les-Aubiers, the Vélidéale, while awaiting the continuation of the voie verte to Maine-et-Loire, takes the characteristic green bocage path to Mauléon. At Saint Aubin de Baubigné, a short detour by bike takes you to Le Château de La Durbelière. Beginning at the sports complex, this trail will take you north of the town. You will see the castle du Pont Hus and its famous stud farm but also the “logis du Breuil”, a renovated fort.

A walking trail to discover the paths of the countryside. It begins in the city center, at the parking lot of the sports complex of Fernant Sastre, do not miss the visible heritage such as the church, the old town, the windmill…  It is possible to prolong this walk towards the port La Rivière, where you can see the castle of the Pont Hus then follow the path to get to a point of view on the river L’Erdre.  

The poster for MAUGES PIT FEST IV was created around this theme, with MEDUSA at the heart of the visual. A Gorgon from Greek mythology, she could petrify anyone who met her gaze. This 2 km trail, on a preserved site, is at the heart of a vast bocage landscape, cradle of springs where meadows, ponds, hedges and small streams mingle. This site has been awarded the "Espace Naturel Sensitive" label. With the family: a moment of complicity guaranteed! On your own: a great opportunity to recharge your batteries! Thanks to the support of the Département des Deux-Sèvres, JDO Paysages (Terves) has installed two attractive and fun footbridges. They're sure to delight young and old alike! An educational panel talks about "mollins". What are they? To find out, scan the QR code on the panel and listen to what the locals have to say. The site is also home to several geocaches, an orienteering course and a Tèrra Aventura course called "La Corbelière des z?ombres"

This site comprises blocks of white quartz recognised in 1909 as a Monument and Site of Natural Interest. The site of the Pyrôme rocks used to be inhabited by goblins. According to legend, every year at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, one of the huge blocks of rock would rise up and the goblins would appear offering their treasure, hidden there, to anyone who would agree to give up their place in Paradise. Today it offers an interesting panoramic view spreading beyond Moulins and the Ouin valley toward the Cholet area. A path join the Corbelière Site, "Espace naturel sensible").

Built in the 17th century, it was rebuilt in the 19th century on the site of an old 12th century building, a Romanesque church. What remains today of this old church is the reconstructed Romanesque porch installed at the entrance to the presbytery Regarding this building now, it was in the 17th century that the monks decided to build a new church. Work began in 1681 and took 15 years. The church was burnt down during the Vendée War, like the rest of the town. The original doors visible inside the church keep traces of break-ins committed during the inventories carried out by force in 1906 when the church and the state were separated.
