From the reception area of the small station, the marked path through the Garenne du Puy Grolier leads to the old card factories. Once you have crossed the bridge over the Vézère, the scenery of greenery and water continues on the other bank. The tour continues along the rue de l'abreuvoir which climbs towards the old town. Then you cross the Vézère again by the Turgot Bridge to get back to the starting point. The route is punctuated by panels relating the life and work of Simone De Beauvoir, philosopher and writer (1908-1986), winner of the 1954 Goncourt Prize, who spent part of her childhood holidays close by. At the crossroads take the path opposite and continue to the road.On the road, turn right then 40 m further on take the path on the left.At the crossroads, take the path opposite which runs alongside the main road.At the next two intersections, turn right to return to the main road at the corner of the school. On the main road, turn right and go through the houses, and, at the intersection, take the path opposite.Where the paths cross, turn left and continue until you reach point 6.Turn left and go back through the village of Surget to reach point 5.Take the path that goes up on the right then take the first path on the left and follow it.When you get to the main road, turn right again, pass in front of the Marteau mill then continue on, up in the village.

From Avenue du Général de Gaulle (main road) in Uzerche, take the D920 for about 500m in the direction of Tulle, then turn left on the D142 towards Espartignac.Take the D142 E6 towards Ceyrat (D920E). Go past the St-Martial fountain with the sculpture "Nymph getting ready to bathe".Go down to the old P.O.C. (Paris-Orléans-Corrèze) road and turn right for 1 km, on the left is the Planquette bridge, about 200m further on your right is the old station.Continue until you reach the D142.Pass in front of the sculpture, "Prometheus", and at this point take the road ahead on the right.Then, after 50 m, on the right take the wooden steps in the embankment. Then follow the path through woods and fields.At the intersection turn left in front of the "Dolmen" information panel. Follow the steep path, continue through a carpet of periwinkle and find the "Dolmen" below.To return, take the same path againAt the intersection, turn left. Finish the walk back to the starting point.

Follow the track of the little train "Paris-Orléans-Corrèze" affectionately called "Le Transcailladou called "Le Transcailladou", you will go back in time to the site "Le Dolmen". The remains of the castle mound of the Abbey Castle will be visible to you and the small path will naturally lead you to the House of the Wolf located on a rocky spur dominating the metal road in a meander of the Vézère.

Downstream from the Bialet waterfalls, near the confluence of the Saint Ybard stream and the Vézère river, on the banks, stand the remains of an old forge. A few hundred meters along the river you will discover the railway viaduct of Gour-Noir. This walk then leads you to the viaduct of the A20 motorway. You reach the waterfalls through the village of Bouchiat.

The Sénéchaussée of Uzerche was created in 1557 by Henri II. Its facade, overlooking the Vézère river, features three towers representing the rights of high, medium and low justice. A municipal building since 1879, it served as a girls' school until 1924, and then as a police station. The de Chavailles family was responsible for the development of the seneschalsea from the 16th to 17th centuries.
