The hydroelectric power station of Jousseau is built by the Société des forces motrices de la Vienne. This plant, built between 1926 and 1928, is part of the La Roche group which has 5 plants on the Vienne. This dam is 204 m long with a head of 10.20 m and the reservoir is 66 ha, it has a maximum power of 5400 kW and an average production per year of 28,500,000 kWH.
