Payroux and Joussé, crossed by the river Clain, form a beautiful hilly and green ensemble, set in the neighboring plains. The "gentiilhommières" are a multitude of small castles and mansions scattered and well situated. On the way you can see the church of Payroux, the Château de Moiseau, the Château de Joussé, the Bascule and the Château de La Fougeraie.
