This site comprises blocks of white quartz recognised in 1909 as a Monument and Site of Natural Interest. The site of the Pyrôme rocks used to be inhabited by goblins. According to legend, every year at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, one of the huge blocks of rock would rise up and the goblins would appear offering their treasure, hidden there, to anyone who would agree to give up their place in Paradise. Welcome to our house by the sea, where you'll find all the comforts you need for a great stay! Located in a residence with a caretaker all year round, you can walk along the pedestrian walkways to the swimming pool and its paddling pool (open and heated from 15 June to 15 September), the bowling green or the children's play area... On the ground floor, the house offers a living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area, a sitting room with WIFI internet TV and a shower room with Italian shower and WC (wardrobe). Upstairs, the staircase leads to a bedroom with 2 90x190 bunk beds and a closed bedroom with a 140x190 bed and TV (cupboards and chest of drawers). Welcome to the seaside, in a 70m² flat in a contemporary, bioclimatic wooden house just 5 minutes by bike from the beach and 200 metres from the shops. During your stay, you and your family or friends can make the most of the bikes available, the 1,500m² shared garden with its children's play area (trampoline, swing, slide), vegetable garden, greenhouse and henhouse. Come and discover the great beaches of the Vendée coast and recharge your batteries in the heart of the Natura 2000 area of the "Dunes, forest and marshes of Olonne". Local shops and the market are just 200 m away on foot, and the Dunes beach is just 1.8 km away. Nearby, enjoy a stroll and children's play area in the wooded Parc des Genêts. The many cycle paths and mountain bike trails, ideal for sporting holidays, are a great way to discover the region. 12 km to the south, you can visit the bay of Les Sables d'Olonne, and 15 km to the north, you can visit the fishing port of St Gilles Croix de Vie. The accommodation comprises : - An 11m² bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200), with the option of installing 1 foldaway bed. - An 11m² bedroom with two 90x200 single beds (which can be converted into a 180x200 king-size bed), including a mezzanine accessible via a secure mezzanine ladder with a 140x200 double mattress. - A lounge area with coffee table, wood-burning stove, television, DVD player, hi-fi system and bookcase. - A fully-equipped kitchen (oven, 3-burner induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, mixer, selective sorting bin) opening onto the living room and outdoor wooden terrace. - A shower room with walk-in shower (hairdryer, organic soap and shampoo). - A separate toilet. - A south-facing terrace equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, parasol and barbecue. - A north-facing terrace with garden furniture.
