La Moussetière Pepperpot Turrets A journey back in time among the forest and bocages. You will admire the manor houses, including those in La Moussetière, with round pepperpot turrets, and discover some of the curiosities of the Remalard area.

This hike is the second stage of an 8-day, 220-km circuit, the Tour des Collines du Perche. During this second stage, you will gradually leave the Vallée de l’Huisne and enter the forest area with its foothills, coming out at Bretoncelles before going back in and then reaching the village of Moutiers-au-Perche, which is nestled in the Vallée de la Corbionne.

A green escapade along the water A nature trail to explore the Natura 2000 site of the Haute-Vallée de la Sarthe, one of the most important wetlands in the department. You will cross meadows rich in biodiversity and can finish the route with a moment of relaxation at the Le Mêle lake.

This is a must-see site of historical interest in the Perche region. It was here that Blanche of Castile, Saint-Louis King of France's regent, besieged Bellême against Pierre de Dreux in 1229. She won the battle, and Perche was annexed to the Kingdom of France. From this site, visitors can enjoy views of the cross, the Bellême panoramic viewpoint and the forest.

Old priory founded in the 11th century. The 15th century church is surprisingly big. Illuminations and singing bring this exceptional building to life as soon as visitors enter through its doors. Visitors can see the inside and outside of the church, the 16th century stalls (a classified historic monument) and the altar piece.

This castle is a private mansion from the 17th century, Louis XIII style. It was built by Bry de la Clergerie, an historian from the Perche. The castle was then extended by Abrial, a minister under Napoléon the first. It became the house of writer Roger Martin du Gard, Nobel price of litterature in 1937. Old priory of Chêne Galon from the 18th century. The priory was founded around 1100 by the Count du Perche Rotrou III to house the relics of the "real cross", became private during the revolution.
