In 1927, this oak tree was dedicated to the National School of Water and Forestry, from which it takes its name.
The school's oak tree is a sessile oak that was born in 1666 during the reign of Louis XIV. It is over 350 years old!
It commands admiration: its circumference at chest height is 4.55 metres and it is over 42 metres tall.
