The Vallée des Eclusiers is an 8.2 km long greenway linking Guntzviller (Auberge Altenburger) to Hofmuhl via the old lock ladder in Arzviller-Henridorff (3.8 km). The Greenway is a traffic route open to all non-motorised means of transport. It provides a link with the South Moselle cycle network via Niderviller to the west and the Bas-Rhin cycle network to the east via Saverne and towards Strasbourg. Another section of approximately 1 km connects the Auberge Altenburger to Arzviller. The Eurovélo 5 "Via Romea Francigena" is a major European itinerary that links London to Brindisi in southern Italy via Rome. 580 km of this route passes through France between Calais and Mulhouse and follows the Voie Verte de la Vallée des Eclusiers and the Voie Verte du canal de la Marne-au-Rhin.

Museum Gaspar is housed in the residence of the middle-class family Gaspar from Arlon who had set up in this house (1893) that was built in 1842. It was renovated in 2004. The two most famous members of this family are animal sculptor Jean-Marie Gaspar (1861-1931) and Charles Gaspar (1971-1950) who was a photographer and a sponsor. He gave his house to the town of Arlon on the condition they make a museum of it, dedicated to his brother's work and that put into honour the history and the heritage of Arlon. At the first floor, theree are two restored salons identical to a middle-class salon from the early 20th century that show Jean-Marie Gaspar's sculptures. and the art and picture collection of Charles Gaspar. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum that alternates artv and history. A religion room shows collections about the abbey of Orval and to the people's devotion at the 18th century, and also relics from the ancient Saint-Martin church. But the Masterpiece is the famous altarpiece Retable de Fisenne - a 16th century masterpiece from the Antwerp school. It was bought in 1893 by a middle-class family from Arlon, the family Gaspar. Jean Gaspar (1861-1931) was a sculptor. He was trained by the Antwerp sculptor Jef Lambeaux. His works are in bronze and in plaster and they are exhibited in the salons that have been restorated as they were in his house. His brother Charles (1871-1950) was a photographer, a collector and a sponsor. He gave this house to the town of Arlon. It hosts the library of the Archaeological Institute of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg and its secretary office since 1954. A wide part of the museum is also dedicated to temporary exhibitions about art and history of Arlon.

A key technical structure in eastern France, the Plan Incliné replaces a scale of 17 locks over 4 km, which used to take a day to navigate. It was commissioned on January 27, 1969. Located on the Canal de la Marne au Rhin in the Phalsbourg area, it enables boaters to cross the threshold of the Vosges mountains, overcoming a 44.55 m difference in height in just a few minutes.

According to legend, this former village washhouse was once the fountain where babies were born. In the 17th century, this fountain was used to supply the Phalsbourg garrison with drinking water, as it taps three springs. A remarkable monument in the village of Hultehouse, this fountain is steeped in history and represents both a legend and a must-see in this high-altitude village. Nestled in the heart of the Vosges Mosellanes forest, this site will take you into the magic of the historical and remarkable heritage of our region.

In the Zorn valley, between Lutzelbourg and Dabo, near the hamlet of Sparsbrod, lies the Schacheneck valley. It is squeezed between steep slopes, covered with coniferous forests. This place, shrouded in mystery, is the site of the former village of Fischbach, destroyed in 1633 during the Thirty Years' War, of which the chapel was probably the church. The remains of the chapel with its 10th century pink stone baptistery are believed to be the oldest remains of Christianity in the region. Below the chapel is a spring, which is said to have medicinal properties. It is said to cure children's illnesses, sore throats, skin problems and scabies. How to get there: from the D98C after Sparsbrod in the direction of Dabo, follow the rue Saint-Fridolin in the direction of "Etang du Fischbach" and continue straight on.

From the Lavoir du Baerenloch trail, you can wander in the footsteps of the old troglodyte houses in the Dabo forest massif. At this point, you will discover the Bear Hole washhouse !

Perched on its sandstone promontory, the St. Odile Chapel slightly overlooks the Zorn valley. Jean-Jacques Bernauer, a miller in Neustadtmuhle, had the chapel built in 1740, the date engraved on the lintel at the entrance. In 1740, the neighbouring communities of Neustadtmuhle and Schaeferhof were under the protection of St. Odile, patron saint of Alsace. This chapel served as a place of worship for the inhabitants of the surrounding area for whom the parish church in Dabo was too far away. After many vicissitudes, it was restored in 1925 and became a well-known place of pilgrimage in the middle of the last century. Inside, paintings evoke the life of Saint Odilia. On the roof stands a bell tower topped by a bulb, in which hangs a 36 kg bell dating from 1743. How to get there: towards Dabo via D98C then D45 the chapel overlooks the road on the left between Neustadtmuhle and Schaeferhof.

As if glued together, the two rocks have an original shape.

The castle, the cradle of Phalsbourg, was the seat of Count Palatine George Jean, founder of the town from 1568. The exterior restoration (staircase and tower) dates from George Jean. The ground floor (now the cellar), where the year 1568 is engraved, also remains from this period. The stone keystone, removed around 1890, showed the coat of arms of George John. At that time the castle extended as far as the Place d'Armes. Vauban included the building in his plan and enclosed it in one of the bastions. The building can now be accessed via the first floor. The castle is a stage on the discovery tour. Free visit of the exterior.

The museum of Phalsbourg presents an important collection of costumes, firearms and knives which date back from the First Empire to World War II. A room is dedicated to the 19th century popular novelists Erckmann and Chatrian. Finally, costumes and everyday objects give an account of the inhabitants' lifestyle and traditions.

Broomsticks were given as presents to Saint Sebastien who would cure boils. The Chapel was blessed June 22nd 1769. The bell was given by the Touche family in 1806.

The landlady's regional specialities are cooked with great care and attention. The "Café Terroir" welcomes you throughout the day for a break in natural surroundings: sandwiches, cooked meats, mixed salads and tarts.
