GR® de Pays Scorff-Blavet-Océan Loop 5 - Le littoral lorientais

Departure: Lorient bus station. Follow the yellow and red signs. Approved in September 2021, the GR® of Pays Scorff-Blavet-Océan offers hikers a route of 477 kilometers organized into 5 hiking loops covering the territory of West Morbihan between the bay of Lorient and the Pays de Pontivy. The loop no. 5 "Le littoral lorientais" is a 65.5-kilometre walking route that can be covered in 3 days and is therefore perfect for an extended weekend, taking advantage of a Friday or a Monday holiday, for example. Accessible by train from its starting point, Lorient, this loop offers, like its previous colleague, a roaming that smells of the sea air. Focusing on the western outskirts of Lorient before heading inland, we particularly like to take a look at the island of Groix and its famous and stunning convex beach from the tip of Talud, less than 6 kilometers from the coast. You can also swap your hiking clothes for a swimsuit and enjoy a refreshing break on the beach of Fort Bloqué. You hike on natural and private sites. Stay on the marked paths, respect nature, developments and cultivated plots. For your comfort and safety, equip yourself with the appropriate hiking equipment. Certain allergenic species may be present along hiking trails, such as grasses, birch, alder, mugwort, ragweed, and olive trees. To plan your outings, you can consult the pollen monitoring data for the Lorient Agglomeration area and the recommended precautions to take via this link: https://www.lorient-agglo.bzh/actus/suivi-des-pollens/ For your accommodations, go to www.lorientbretagnesudtourisme.fr or 02 97 84 78 00
