In 1931, the Musée des Beaux-Arts moved into a beautiful 1866 Roussel-Defontaine town house, representative of the architecture in vogue under Napoleon III. In 2009, following an exceptional donation of more than 600 works by Tourcoing-born Eugène Leroy, the museum became the MUba Eugène Leroy. It presents its collections through a constant dialogue between classical, modern and contemporary art. Paintings, drawings and sculptures come together to form a thematic trail that takes us face to face with Louis-Léopold Boilly, Rembrandt and Théodore Rombouts, the contemporaries Felten-Massinger, Antoine Petitprez and Philippe Cazal, and twentieth-century figures such as Martin Barré and Jean Fautrier. The permanent collections occupy half of the exhibition space. They are regularly renewed to reflect the major temporary exhibitions scheduled two or three times a year.

Open since 1997, Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains, located in a building renovated by the Franco-American architect Bernard Tschumi, provides the public with significant contemporary art exhibitions, film programs, concerts, performances, lectures, and more throughout the year. Additionally, Le Fresnoy serves as a prestigious center for artistic, audiovisual, and multimedia training for advanced students. Its main goal is to empower young creators to produce works using professional technical resources, under the guidance of renowned artists, without limiting their means of expression. These works are showcased annually at the Panorama event.

Former municipal swimming pool built by Albert Baert between 1927 and 1932 in an Art Deco style, rehabilitated as a museum in 2001 and enlarged in 2018 by Jean-Paul Philippon, La Piscine exhibits the richness of its collections of paintings, sculptures and applied arts in this place which was considered for more than fifty years as "the most beautiful swimming pool in France". Once the world's textile capital, Roubaix has successfully converted its factories. Its swimming pool, built between 1927 and 1932 by Lille architect Albert Baert, is a veritable Art Deco masterpiece that has been transformed into a museum, a fine example of rehabilitation. Under the shouts of the bathers of yesteryear, this vast 11,000 m2 space welcomes visitors and offers them an exceptional collection of arts applied to industry, including fabrics, decorative arts, sculptures, paintings and drawings. The museum's main room, the swimming pool, is lit by stained glass windows symbolising the rising and setting sun. Human-sized statues in single file adorn the pool, which is still filled with water, and surround the old changing rooms, bathrooms and shower cubicles. Large-scale temporary exhibitions are organised throughout the year. *Memorial to the Missing* This cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) memorial for the missing soldiers of World War I who fought in the immediate area of the Ypres Salient on the Western Front. The grounds were assigned to the United Kingdom in perpetuity by King Albert I of Belgium in recognition of the sacrifices made by the British Empire in the defence and liberation of Belgium during the war. You see the magnificent circular temple, built by Chalton Bradshaw, guarded by two stone lions. The names of 11,447 unknown British soldiers and officers are engraved here. Since 7 June 1999, the Comité du Memorial de Ploegsteert has arranged for the Last Post to be played at the memorial on the first Friday of each month.
