The chapel was built in 1932 on the dunes at Labenne Océan. Of classical architectural style, it is composed of a sanctuary and a single nave. The interior of the chapel is decorated with a Way of the Cross painted by a student of Fine Arts, Suzanne Labatut. The Germans, who occupied the chapel during the Second World War, fled with the bell. It was replaced after the occupation. Over the years, the chapel has suffered climatic hazards and vandalism, it is very degraded. Because of its heritage character and its location on the dune, the Conservatoire du Littoral is implementing its restoration in the fall of 2018. The bell is restored and put back in its bell tower for the inauguration of the chapel in June 2019. The chapel is not open to the public, except for exceptional events, but it is possible to admire it from the outside.

The Boudigau, a Gascon word meaning "canal", was built on the former bed of the Adour, a river diverted in 1578 to Bayonne by the engineer Louis de Foix. Interest: Protected natural area. Main ornithological site. The marsh was dried out for agricultural purposes under Napoleon the IIIrd mandate. This old polder is surrounded by canals. It is now a privileged halt for migrating birds wanting to rest and feed. The Marsh of Orx welcomes a great diversity of birds. It is a vast and well known protected area. Notre-Dame Bridge: on the bridge, one crosses the Hossegor canal dug in 1876 to promote the development of the port of Capbreton. The lake of Hossegor thus connected to the sea has become a marine lake, that is to say a lake where sea water enters and leaves with the tides Le Pont de la Halle: this bridge led to the market which was held under the arcades of the old town hall, now the town hall, before it was rebuilt in 1907. On the opposite side of the church is the district of the Vignes: the sand wine of Capbreton was cultivated here. Pont du Bouret: the Bouret bridge determines the boundary with Hossegor. It was called until the 19th century the bridge of the Goats. Tributary of the Boudigau, this watercourse is born on the side of the barthes of Angresse. On the right and upstream of the bridge, the first residential nucleus of Capbreton was established in the Bouret district.

The ice creams (around sixty flavours) are made in France by our master ice cream maker (Jean-François Duport from sopaglaces). We also offer ice creams from the Baïlia farm in Bardos (made with milk from their farm and local fruit). For snacks, try an American kebab, burger, panini or salad.
