AN ARTISTIC ROUTE BETWEEN SOUSTONS CITY AND SOUSTONS BEACH The concretization of a project a little bit crazy! It is an incredible project which sees the day along the 8 kilometers of the soft way which connect the lake of Soustons to the ocean beach! SCULPTURES IMAGINED BY CHILDREN AND MADE BY STUDENTS All started from the communal will to develop an educational, environmental and cultural project of territory, concretized thanks to the imagination of the teacher and the pupils of CM2 of the school of Isle Verte and to the meeting with an eco-interpreter with whom they worked on the artistic interpretation of the fauna and the flora met on these 8 kilometers of green way.

This loop guarantees you an incredible diversity of landscapes! The secure cycle paths take you past the ocean beaches, the marine lake of Port d'Albret, the forest of tall pines and the shady shores of Lake Soustons. Get on your bike and discover the beauty of the south coast of the Landes.

From the picnic area on the road to Bénesse, climb up to the highest point at 64 m. Along a marked walking route of almost 2 km, discover the local fauna and flora. Perched on one of the viewpoints, contemplate the horizon, the Marais d'Orx and the 9 churches with the help of the orientation tables. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees and the ocean in the distance... Walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela by taking the "Bayonnais" path

On this path in the forest, you will discover a "douys" water point (small hole) surrounded by large pines and oaks where the shepherds used to make their sheep drink, then a "palombière" on the "ground" before joining the path of the bayonnais.

L'Étang Blanc straddles Seignosse, Tosse and Soustons. It is intermittently accessible and offers magnificent light all year round. You won't be able to walk around it, as the marshy meadows that border it are protected and inaccessible. The numerous stilt huts are used as duck-hunting blinds.

The smallest and least accessible of the 5 lakes of the commune, separated from Lac Blanc only by a bridge, it is a real reserve au naturel. However, some of it can be avoided by walk and enjoy superb views of the wildlife and wild flora.

The bouldering gym offers a unique experience for climbers of all levels, in a warm and friendly setting on the edge of a national forest.
