AN ARTISTIC ROUTE BETWEEN SOUSTONS CITY AND SOUSTONS BEACH The concretization of a project a little bit crazy! It is an incredible project which sees the day along the 8 kilometers of the soft way which connect the lake of Soustons to the ocean beach! SCULPTURES IMAGINED BY CHILDREN AND MADE BY STUDENTS All started from the communal will to develop an educational, environmental and cultural project of territory, concretized thanks to the imagination of the teacher and the pupils of CM2 of the school of Isle Verte and to the meeting with an eco-interpreter with whom they worked on the artistic interpretation of the fauna and the flora met on these 8 kilometers of green way.

Walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela by taking the "Bayonnais" path

On this path in the forest, you will discover a "douys" water point (small hole) surrounded by large pines and oaks where the shepherds used to make their sheep drink, then a "palombière" on the "ground" before joining the path of the bayonnais.

Around the church are the small chapel of Notre Dame and the St Roch fountain. The latter serves as the goal of the short procession that follows mass on Whit Monday. And if the local people refer to the Notre Dame de Saubion festival, it's actually a pilgrimage to the St Roch spring. The source of St. Roch remains well known and appreciated; it seems to be frequented for no particular reason, even though it used to attract stunted and crippled people.

Welcome to the Pouchucq farm, for me being a farmer is first and foremost a passion. My wish is to help you discover the great taste of poultry. We also raise black pigs and fattened ducks on our farm close to the ocean. My chickens take the time to grow up in freedom. They are fed with corn grown on site. After 3 1/2 months of free-range rearing, we fatten our ducks on whole-grain corn for 2 weeks to offer you quality foie gras. Farm products: fattened duck; black pigs; farm chickens; preserves.
