This loop begins at the hamlet of Avers, where you can see the vines planted on the south-facing slopes, before climbing to the village of Prébois, where you can enjoy a 360° panorama of the surrounding mountains!

A loop starting from Le Percy to discover the hermitage of Esparron, built in the 13th century which played also a role in the resistance during the 2nd World War. From Percy, head towards Esparron via Chabulière, Bayard and Sous l'Ermitage. From Esparron, follow signs to Monestier-du-Percy, via Les Champs, Bois de Xavier In La Selle, then Les Combes, follow signs to Monestier-du-Percy, then Le Percy.

Storm Mount Barral. At the top, admire the Dévoluy massif and its majestic mountains such as the Grand Ferrand and the Aiguilles de Lus. Departure from Col de Menée (parking), take the direction of Mont Barral, passing by The Tunnel 1 then Pré Rond 2. The trail is narrower and the slope gradually increases along the ridge to the summit of Mount Barral 3 (beautiful panorama over the whole region). From there, continue south to reach Crête de Jiboui Crest 4 and then turn to the right to take the GR 93 (white-red markings) for a moment until the Paturage de Jiboui  junction 5. The return to the Col de Menée takes place along a path along the alpine meadows and in the undergrowth (yellow and green markings).

Walk through the wide open spaces of several important alpine pastures. From the passes of Tournerond and La Chante, admire the sumptuous panorama of the peaks surrounding you, you will leave with unforgettable images full head. At the Pont des Amayères (parking), take the path that enters the gorges towards the Bergeries des Amayères 1. To the sheepfolds, the valley separates in two, take the left one which goes towards the Valle de Tranchemule 2, go along a small stream. After crossing the Vallon de Tranchemule, the trail stiffens to reach the Col de Tournerond 3. Join the Col de la Chante 4 crossing the alpine slopes to your right. Once on the ridge, you will descend to the pass. Leave the ridge and descend into the hollow of the valley to reach La Cassa 5. The trail, leading to the foot of the Chevalet mountain, widens and continues for a moment flat, then descends to the crossing of the Reservoir 6. From there, continue straight, cross the hamlet of Sièzes 7 and Chemin des Miellons 8. In the first turn of the road, a path allows to cut the laces to join the Pont des Amayères more quickly.

A sporty loop that links the Col de Menée and Col de Grimone climbs. The Col de Menée is signposted with kilometer markers. It's a great way to enjoy this Mediterranean climate!

A pleasant, varied route through the back roads of the Trièves, taking in the scenery on both the Vercors and Dévoluy sides of the region, and admiring two emblematic peaks: Obiou and Mont Aiguille!

An enjoyable, interesting loop that will show you Grand-Ferrand in a new light. At the Grand-Ferrand picnic car park, you will see a hut, which is the starting point for your hike. Take the wide track that climbs up. You need to head towards Col de la Croix via the Resistance Trail, passing through Les Fontettes, Fontaine des Boeufs and Refuge de la Croix. Once you’ve reached Col de la Croix (this pass connects the departments of Isère and Drôme), you can enjoy the views of the peaks all around, especially Dévoluy. Now follow the Resistance Trail towards L'Alpage de la Paille. From here, make for the old sheepfold following the yellow posts dotted across the mountain pasture. Take care when you come across herds of cows: make sure you go around them. The path goes down gently, leading to the old sheepfold that was destroyed during the Second World War. Then you’ll come to the old sheepfold signpost, and carry on until you get to the Amigoni Stele. Carry on to the Girardère signpost before making your way to the Grand-Ferrand picnic spot, 800 meters from your current position. And then you’ll be back at your starting point.

The Espace Giono is a place of remembrance for this writer, and an exhibition space for the works of Lalley painter Edith Berger. A path invites you to discover the artistic universes of Edith Berger and Jean Giono through the landscapes of the Trièves. The Espace Giono is located in the very place where Giono lived during his various vacations in Lalley. It is a place of memory, where literature and writing play an important role, evoking the Trièves of the land, its farmers and its landscapes, described by Giono in his work. Works by local painter Edith Berger are also on display. The Edith Berger-Jean Giono trail invites you to discover the artistic worlds of painter Edith Berger and writer Jean Giono in and around Lalley, through the landscapes of the Trièves. 8 panels, each presenting a work by Edith Berger, accompanied by texts by Jean Giono, are installed along the 4.5km trail. Access to the trail is free, and maps are available at the trailhead. Echoing this is Lalley painter Edith Berger. Her oils and pastels take up the same themes dear to Giono's heart; her confident brushstrokes and palette of colors depict everyday life and the human and architectural heritage of Lalley and the surrounding area. In addition to these permanent exhibitions, there is a space for temporary exhibitions, featuring paintings from here and elsewhere, figurative or contemporary, photos, sculptures and more, by artists from the Trièves.

From the summit of Mont Barral, a remarkable 360 ° view allows you to admire the Mont Aiguille and the Grand Veymont in the North, the Diois in the South-West (the Jocou is very close) and the Dévoluy chain in the South-East, including the beautiful Aiguilles de Lus and its main summit: the Grand Ferrand (2758 m), the second summit of Dévoluy.

Every summer the slopes of the Jocou welcome sheep flocks in summer (some cattle on the lower part). The herds maintain these vast alpine pastures, which give a bucolic framework to this hike. Without the maintenance of the alpine pastures, the forest would gradually gain ground.

From the "Vente-Cul" pass, which is often windy, admire the panorama of the Dévoluy, Belledonne and Les Ecrins to the east, to the south is Toussière, while to the west extends the Diois and the pre-Alps South to Ventoux. To the northwest, you see the summit of Jocou.

The Col de Menée, at 1402 meters above sea level, is a historic crossing point between the Diois and Trièves. For vehicles, the passage of the pass is through the tunnel.

In 1860, the Mountain Range Restoration (RTM) services were created, in order to avoid excessive erosion and runoff phenomena, causing torrential lava flows. In order to do so, a policy of reforestation has been launched, as well as the setting of thresholds in the areas of flow. The restoration was particularly important in the Diois.

One of the mountainous borders between the Trièves and the Diois, the Col de Tournerond offers a view of the peaks and ridges surrounding: the Rogon, the Jocou ...
