Cet itinéraire à la frontière des départements de la Drôme et des Hautes-Alpes offre une vue panoramique en crête ! L’étendue des espaces en alpages est à couper le souffle. A ne pas manquer ! Au poteau directionnel, emprunter la piste qui descend à gauche. A l’intersection au niveau de la ruine, tourner à droite puis passer devant le poteau « DFCI – réserve de la Tussie ». A la prochaine bifurcation, prendre à droite, remonter la piste en lacets et traverser un petit ruisseau. Poursuivre la montée sur piste jusqu'à une prairie. En continuant tout droit, rejoindre un petit sentier qui longe une clôture. Suivre ce sentier et, plus loin, à l'intersection, prendre tout droit ; possibilité de monter directement sur la crête par la droite. Traverser un petit ruisseau à sec puis un espace marneux. Grimper alors au Col de Tous les Vents précédé d’un petit passage en forêt. Au col, poursuivre la sente à droite puis traverser une Forêt Domaniale en empruntant une large piste à droite. A la prochaine intersection, prendre à droite en montant pour atteindre le col d’Izon (1343 m). Au col d'Izon, tourner à droite, direction "Montagne de Chamouse - 1,5 km". Suivre les balises qui mènent aux vastes alpages de Chamouse. Traverser les alpages jusqu’au sommet de Chamouse (1532 m). Il n’y a plus de sentier sur cette partie du parcours, suivre les cairns. Redescendre sur 900 m le long de la crête. Au poteau directionnel, bifurquer à droite sur un petit sentier descendant dans la forêt ("La Tussie" - 1430 m) direction "Laborel". Traverser la hêtraie, et continuer à descendre. Plus bas, le sentier devient une piste. Poursuivre sur cette piste pour revenir au point de départ.

Easy round trip hike for enjoying the panorama at the top. Go down the pass for 250 m in the direction of "Buis les Baronnies / Montauban sur l'Ouvèze" by road. At the 1st right turn, at the “Col de Perty” post (1285 m), turn left on the track. Go up  switchbacks until you reach an electricity pylon. Follow a small path that goes to the right through the boxwoods and rocks. Be careful when descending the ridge, the path is stony and slippery. Pay attention to the left intersection to get back to the ridge. Walk along the ridge to reach the summit of Chamouse. The same route in the opposite direction brings you back to the starting pont.

A must-see ! 1 - Start - path At the post 182 " col de Chamouse ", take the path going down on the left. 2 - Crossroad - post FFRP 123 At the level as the ruins (post 123), turn right then go by the sign " DFCI - réserve de la Tussie ". 3 - Crossroad - fork (new path - no signs on this part) Go left, then up the path and across a small stream. At the ledge, you can see multiple lavender fields on your left. 4 - Old route crossroad Proceed forward until you reach a small trail with yellow signs. At the crossroad - post FFRP 120 - Izon Go toward Izon, you can also go up directly to the ridge on the right. Follow the path with the fence on the left. You can see the Chamouse above you on the right. Cross a small dried up stream and then a marl area. Climb up to the mountain pass "tous les vents" after crossing a small forest path. 5 - Tous les Vents pass - viewpoint As the name suggests, this mountain pass is very windy ! Follow the path on the right above a small canal and go across the domain's forest on a large path. 6 - Crossroad - toward Izon's pass - viewpoint of Mount Ventoux Turn right up to the Izon mountain pass. This path gives you a clear view of the Mount Venoux (1912 m) on the left. Mount Ventoux → 7 - Crossroad - Izon's Pass (1343 m) Turn left toward " Montagne de Chamouse - 1,5 km ". Follow the large stones and proceed on the path with the yellow signs, to arrive on wide mountain pastures. Take the time to enjoy this unique moment and the surrounding view ! Cross the pastures by following the yellow signs, the cairns and the shepherd pathway. Chamouse's Pastures → 8 - Chamouse's peak (1532 m) Take in the amazing view ! Be careful on the sides of the ridge. 9 - Ridge - crossroad with "la Tussie" post Go down after 900 m on the left side of the ridge then turn right at a small descending forest trail (post : "la Tussie – alt. 1430 m - Direction Laborel") 10 - Beech forest - crossroad at the sign " Sous la Tussie " Cross the forest, at the sign " Sous la Tussie - alt. 1343 m ", continue going down on the left. Return trip - trail Continue following the same trail until reaching a path taking you back to the starting point (ignore the left and right turns).

Tout à la fois riche de son héritage et de ses paysages agricoles, le tour de la montagne du Riable permet une immersion au cœur d’un patrimoine naturel appréciable. Depuis le centre de Lachau, rejoindre Notre-Dame de Chalma. Suivre la piste qui progresse à l’orée des champs derrière l’église. A la seconde intersection, s’infléchir tout à fait à droite sur la piste. Atteindre la pinède en poursuivant sur la piste et amorcer la montée dans la montagne. A proximité de la clue, traverser le mince ruisseau puis grimper en lacets jusqu’au col.  Du col, entreprendre la descente via la piste qui part en direction d’une ferme en contrebas. Rejoignant une plus large piste caillouteuse, délaisser la direction d’Eourres et le GRP. Poursuivre sur la piste principale et suivre le balisage jaune jusqu’au hameau du Château. Du hameau, descendre à gauche par la route qui se dérobe sous la montagne sur environ 3 km coupant à travers la clue. Dépasser le lieu-dit « Malaric », et, à l’intersection, traverser le pont sur l'Auzance. Suivre à gauche la D 201 sur 1 km. Au lieu-dit « l’Adret », franchir à nouveau un pont similaire à gauche, puis s’infléchir immédiatement à droite sur le sentier qui longe les champs avant de retrouver la route goudronnée. Poursuivre sur ce chemin (chemin des Iscles) jusqu’au carrefour. Au carrefour, marqué par le poteau « le Canal », retrouver Notre-Dame de Chalma à gauche, ou la Mairie à droite. 

La montée régulière en sous-bois à l’ubac sera appréciée pour sa fraîcheur. Au sommet, le panorama sur le village d’Eourres et les crêtes seront une belle récompense. Le versant adret offre une merveilleuse descente en balcon. Face à la mairie, prendre la route à gauche, traverser le pont puis prendre tout de suite à gauche (Chemin de la Pinié). Après 300 m, la route devient piste et passe entre 2 maisons. Suivre celle-ci qui monte progressivement à travers la forêt de pins et contourne la montagne du Défens. A la première fourche en forêt, continuer sur la piste principale à droite. Faire de même à la prochaine intersection avant un petit raidillon.  Longer un vaste pâturage vallonné et clôturé à gauche (chevaux). Le chemin oblique à gauche, longe toujours la clôture et arrive à une fourche. Suivre la piste de droite (Le Défens) et poursuivre la montée à travers une jolie hêtraie. A l’intersection, monter à droite, longer une coupe forestière et atteindre la crête du Défens (zone en cours de repeuplement forestier). Plonger sur le versant adret en poursuivant son chemin par un joli petit sentier sillonnant à travers un sous-bois de chênes. Celui-ci dessine une belle traversée descendante sous la montagne du Défens pour rejoindre le fond de vallée. Rester vigilant et bien suivre le balisage et cairns en traversant la lande à genêts et lavandes sauvages, autrement le chemin se perd facilement. Arrivé en bas, traverser un chemin et poursuivre sur le sentier d’en face. Il tourne rapidement à gauche pour rejoindre 50 mètres plus loin la piste à prendre à droite pour rejoindre les quelques maisons visibles. Descendre la route jusqu’à la jonction avec la D 201. Prendre la passerelle en face, puis tourner de suite à droite pour regagner Lachau en longeant la rivière rive gauche. Continuer sur la route en face, puis, au poteau « Le Canal », à droite pour rejoindre le point de départ à la mairie.

Entièrement dans la Drôme, cette boucle de 82 km fait pédaler au coeur du parc naturel régional des Baronnies Provençales. En chemin, plusieurs cols emblématiques du secteur se succédent (comme le col de Perty et le col Saint Jean). L'itinéraire fait passer également le long de rivières caractéritiques comme le Toulourenc, la Méouge et l'Ouvèze. Depuis Laborel, c'est par une ascension jusqu'au Col Saint Jean que débute cet itinéraire (denivelé positif de 328 m). Redescendre à Izon-la-Bruisse et Eygalayes où les virages s'enchaînent. Regagner la D542 pour rouler jusqu'à Séderon. Il est temps de garvir le Col de Macuègne avec une pente moyenne de 4.7% (dénivelé positif de 262 m). Il offre une vue magnifique sur la face nord du Mont Ventoux. Rejoindre Montbrun-les-Bains, station thermale réputée et village médiéval qui figure parmi les plus beaux villages de France. Suivre la D159 qui longe le Toulourenc (rivière qu'alimente le mont Ventoux et qui coule dans une gorge profonde pour une belle halte rafraîchissante). Après Aulan et le col d'Aulan, rejoindre la D546 pour pédaler jusqu'à St-Auban-sur-l'Ouvèze. De là débute l'ascension pour le fameux Col de Perty (une montée de 18 km de long, pour un dénivelé positif de 698 m). Il faut poursuivre sur la D65, le long de l'Ouvèze (affluent du Rhône) et rejoindre le col par plusieurs épingles qui se succèdent. Le parcours se termine en beauté par une belle descente du col jusqu'à Laborel.

The rock of Aiguille is equipped for the practice of sport climbing since the 1990s. Its southern face is equipped with about fifty tracks, some of which, in two lengths, allow climbers to climb the 60 meters high of this cliff and climb to the top of the Aiguille, from whom the altitude is 641 m from the sea. The southern orientation of this wall makes it a popular climbing site for inter-season but also on beautiful winter days.

The Aphyllante of Montpellier (or Barjavou) is a typical plant typical of the Mediterranean scrubland. Its name, in Greek, designate it as a flower without leaves (a = private, phullon = leave, anthos = flower: flower without leaf); In fact it has the appearance of numerous stems pushing in clumps, at the end of which come out of the blue flowers from May to August. Despite its apparent absence of leaves, it constitutes an important resource of pasture for sheep flocks, particularly in winter.

Along the Aiguille path and throughout the walk, a plant companion with many needles will follow you: The Juniper Cade! The cade is this shrub with evergreen foliage whose smallgreen needles have 2 fine white lines distinguishing them from those of the common juniper (1 single white line). Its berries, of violet colour to red, identify easily: their underside has three linesof 120 ° each and converging at a central point.

The spur of the Aiguille is made up of late Jurassiclimestone Despite the compactness of this rock, the cycles of freezing and thawing have overcome some parts of the cliff: Large blocks of rock strewn over the wall in the south face. The land at the base of the cliffs is composed of softer sedimentary rocks, alternating limestone and marl-limestone beds. These marls are particularly well observed when passing through the Bourges ravine.

The ruins of this jastestify to the presence around a moor pasturein the 18th century. The word jas, derived from "jacere" meaning "lying" in Latin, refers to these small sheepfolds where the shepherd led his flock to spend the night. The Jas du Blanc was a good representative of these rustic buildings, with a unique sloping roof and walls pierced by small openings to keep the freshness of the stones in summer and the heat of the animals in winter.

We find it as well in north face as south face in the Baronnies provençales: it's the Sylvester Pine. Typical tree of the Mediterranean mountains, it presents a good resistance in dry period and under cold temperatures. It is easily identified with the red colour that its bark takes on the small branches and on the upper third of its trunk. Some Sylvester pine particularly exposed to the wind take tortured forms, sometimes resembling to the bonsai.

From the Promontory (711m) overlooking the Ouvèze, The Ubrieux castle dominated the natural lock of the Gorges of Ubrieux. This stronghold, built in 1240, was one of the keys of the defense system of Boxwood, then capital of the Barony of Mévouillon. The strategic position of this fort was partly on its perched position but also on the fact that it was on the edge of anotherBaronnie : The one of Montauban. It remains today only the base of the fortifications of the fort, destroyed in 1590.

The sundial is located on the facade of the town hall of Salérans. Realised in 1997, it represents the coat of arms of the town accompanied by some verses of Arthur Rimbaud, a famous French poet

the lapiaz (limestone pavements).! On cliffs, you can see grooves, ridges saturating the rock. These are "lapiés" or "lapiaz" in the singular form. The rainwater has eroded the rock by a process of dissolution to dig the channel in the limestone. The water which continues to rush into these grooves feeds the underground springs.
