Located in the heart of the green Périgord, the site of Saint-Estèphe is part of a rural area of meadows, woodlands, ponds and granite chaos. The various developments have privileged a continuity between the walks on the platforms and the old roadway. The great pond of Saint-Estèphe has the characteristic to integrate equipments intended to allow the reception of the handicapped but also to guarantee them the access to the bathe, the canoe, the fishing and the walk. A ferry also allows a complete tour of the pond.

La Chapelle-Montmoreau is located in a landscape where the forest dominates, on a point overlooking the Boulou valley, an important biological reservoir; You can admire some heritage buildings, such as a Romanesque church of the 12th century which has an altarpiece of the 17th century and a Gothic statue of the Virgin and Child. Site of the Roc Branlant and the Chapelet du Diable The rocking rock, a block of granite of 3 m by 3 m, left in balance on a rocky table by the slow work of the waters of the river in the middle of which it is located, is easily balanced by a simple push. The Bourdeix tower is the only remnant of several castles. The first castle was destroyed in the wars against the British under Charles VII. The second castle was built 50 meters further in the 15th century, and a third one near the church in the 17th century century. At the end of the next century, these houses still existed. Dating from the 12th - 13th century, the tower was registered as a Historical Monument in 1988.

The church succeeding Notre-Dame des Clercs, which we see today, was built from 1872 to 1876, designed by the architect Nontronnais Mandin and at the instigation of Father Lavergne (1868-1897) and the Conseil de Fabrique. Of vast proportions, somewhat austere, it presents a barlong building, punctuated in its western part by a high bell tower porch, later, preceding a large double-leaf wooden portal. The organ of the church Notre Dame des Ronces belongs to the parish and communal heritage!

Built in the 15th and 16th centuries by the Conan and Faure families on a Templar stronghold. Château de Beauvais is a vast square building, flanked by two round towers with machicolations. It dominates the narrow valley that separates it from the village of Lussas. Listed as a Historic Monument. Interpretation panels tell you more about the Gallo-Roman villa of Nontronneau, discovered in 1967 during a drought. Several excavation campaigns have been carried out on this site, the remains of which are now covered over. The villa at Nontronneau is the best-preserved example in the Dordogne of the large rural Roman estates that were established in the "Petrucore" countryside at the beginning of the Empire (1st to 3rd century AD) "petrucore" countryside. Sophisticated baths, reception and ceremonial rooms and rich colonnades prove that the site was long occupied by a noble Roman family with an important public role or function.
