Jardin des Arts

Created on the site of the Château de Nontron park and its outbuildings, the Jardin des Arts was inaugurated in June 2003. Designed as a place for relaxation and leisure, it overlooks the Bandiat valley in the capital of Périgord Vert.
Amid exotic plant species, unique contemporary works - fountains, sculptures, furniture - blend harmoniously on some twenty terraces. All have been designed by exceptional artists, designers and craftsmen, with the support of the Pôle Expérimental Métiers d'Art.
Open daily, free of charge. During renovation work on the château, the entrance to the terraces is closed, but the garden remains accessible from Place Paul Bert.
