The Bourdeix tower is the only remnant of several castles. The first castle was
destroyed in the wars against the British under Charles VII. The second castle was
built 50 meters further in the 15th century, and a third one near the church in the 17th century
century. At the end of the next century, these houses still existed. Dating from the 12th - 13th century, the tower was registered as a Historical Monument in 1988.
